Tree Frog Door Knocker - Brass/Green Patina (Premium Size)

I dislike the price, but it looks adorable on my door

This is the 2nd frog door knocker I have ordered from Michael Healy Designs. Both were wonderful. Well made, very solid. I had to leave the first one with the house we sold because the new owners liked it so much. It has held up well over the years and still looks like new. I ordered a new one for our new house.

This door knocker is distinctive, well made and whimsical. I love it. On my computer screen, the colors are the same as advertised, a medium green with black speckles. On the one I received, the legs have a little more of the black. The gold is neatly applied and doesn't look the least bit tacky, which I wondered about before I received it. Extremely satisfied.

I bought this as a gift. It was well received. The frog is beautifully finished and build quality is spot on. it was very well packaged too. A little on the expensive side but I guess you get what you pay for. It's awesome!

On a few occasions you get something that is better than you expected. This was one of those times. The size, color, appearance are bang on. I have purchased 2 other Michael Healy knockers (for special house project). The quality and design of each are top notch however "froggy" is a favorite. The color alone cranks the cool factor up.

This frog makes me smile every time I come in my front door! It is unique and whimsical, and very well made. Like others have stated, paying this price for a mere door knocker took a great deal of consideration, but having something few others have is worth that price to me.

This is a very quality piece but be sure you have a BIG door! It is not as small as it looks. 5 star for quality but 3 for not showing it's true apprearance of how it will look on the door.I was disappointed.

I thought for quite a while before dropping $100 on a door knocker when you can buy a perfectly functional one for $12. BUT..... that said, this is a very artistic addition to our entrance door and it sends a playful message to anyone who stops by. Having just spent a lot more than that building an entryway and a custom door we wanted something very unique. The casting and details of this door knocker are first rate in every way and it is definitely a conversation piece. It gives the door exactly the feel we were looking for. Can't imagine this sort of thing has much broad appeal but it works for us.

We had a similar tree frog in our previous house and let it on the front door when we sold it. Now in our new home we could not find one we liked as much as the tree frog so had to get another one 😂. We just had a new front door fitted in and the workers were really taken with it. The quality of the frog knocker is excellent and it is absolutely gorgeous
