I love this journal! Glad I trusted the reviews. I really like doing a page to a few pages each night and working through it slowly taking time to think through the answers. Encourages some deep thinking on your values and beliefs. defo recommend if that’s what you’re after!

Though there would be more daily space to write but has lots of activities

I bought this for my tween daughter. I do not consider this to be kid friendly because it mentions being skinny to be happy and other narratives I don't want my daughter to start recycling in her mind. She doesn't have body issues and I don't want this to be the place she starts obsessing about herself in that way.

I've included a whole "chapter" in photos because come on. Especially during COVID times, no one should have to go to the store, to flip through books & see what you're paying for.Personally, I feel it could be better. The book has great bones, a good foundation, and maybe it's perfect for those really just looking to journal while keeping their self-growth in mind. However, I was looking for something to really guide me through healing, self-love, and overall recovering from 2020.There are 15 chapters, 9-10 pages per chapter. 2 pages for the cover, 1 page for example of exercise, 1 page for exercise, leaving 5-6 more pages per chapter. In those remaining pages, some chapters have only 1 prompt every other pages, while others have 1 prompt per page & still at least 1 or 2 empty pages. So yeah... great prompts, but I wish there was more to it.

I sincerely loved this journal! My therapist recommended I do a self-discovery journal because I was feeling stuck and lost in my life. I was attracted to this one initially because of the beautiful illustrations but after reading the reviews I felt like this was what I needed. And it was! Being in quarantine, I had a lot of time to work on this and ended up finishing it in 4 days. I looked forward to it everyday and would just write for hours, or until I felt like I needed to give myself a break.This journal helped me find my confidence. It made me realize what is important to me and what I want out of this life. More importantly, it helped me realize that I have the power to do what I want with my life and that I need to make myself happy before I can make anyone else happy.I’ve recommended it to my friend and my boyfriend (although this journal is targeted towards women specifically which is my only criticism) and they are both finding it helpful.The prompts are well thought out and comprehensive.Thank you for this journal!!!
