The perfect little bento box
I bought this for my husband, who takes his lunch to work. It is very compact, and fits easily inside a standard insulated lunch box with some room to spare, yet it carries plenty of food. The sections fit together perfectly, and there is an airtight seal around the lids to prevent spills. The utensils that come with it are good quality - so far, they have not bent or broken. The knife is fairly sharp. It won't cut you, but it will cut food very easily. The containers are easy to clean by hand. I don't even bother with the dishwasher. It takes perhaps a minute to fully clean the entire thing, as food doesn't stick easily to the plastic inside. The lids are easy to take off. The elastic band that comes with it slides on and off with little effort, but remains in place when you need it to. The roomy compartments will fit almost anything you might want to pack. There is only one issue: The little plastic inserts that are included to separate the compartments. They do not seal when in place. This is not a problem with larger food items, but if you have anything with a liquid sauce, it will spill under the inserts. To avoid this, you can pack sauces and dressings separately (I bought the Bentgo sauce cups, which fit nicely inside this bento box). The booklet that comes with the box is a bit disappointing. It's a nice little explanation of the product and of bento boxes in general, but I was expecting more like a recipe booklet. There are no recipes, but oh, well. That's a free product that comes with the box, so I did not take off any stars for that. All in all, this bento box is exactly what I was hoping for, and my husband loves it!

My lunch, redesigned
My first ever bento box and after a good week of use I quite love it. While it is essentially a tupperware kind of container, it ends up feeling different somehow. Reading up on the basics of what makes these unique and how you are meant to utilize it to the full potential was interesting, making the whole process more enjoyable. They may seem a bit small, but since that is intentional as away to manage portion control it does not bother me at all, a feature I actually wanted. You can fit more into them once you start playing around with options and read up on tips as well, certainly not limiting your lunches, unless you are someone who wants to eat large meals which this wouldn't suit you at all. The design is simple and clean, leak proof lids with an air vent worked great. The included utensils are great, very sturdy material that feel like they would hold up for most situations. They fit nicely into the design into the top lid, and the securing elastic band is very useless as well. The two included dividers I liked, since you can adjust them to however you need. All the parts cleaned up easily or left behind any odors. The included guide is actually a few short pages with a brief introduction into bento boxes and a few video links for ideas. I was expecting something more in depth, though there are plenty of other books out there to introduce you I would recommend. I look forward to using this daily for work, has an appealing design that for me brought about a new appreciation for preparing my lunches. Being mindful to make appropriate portions, making sure I included variety, to trying to make it all fit nicely. Maybe I'm just too simple, perhaps it will instill the same new excitement for you!

There's only 1 thing missing: chopsticks!
I bought this bento box because I wanted to cut back on the amount of fast food I was eating, and doing a bento box lunch at least once a week seemed liked a pretty good option. I went for the larger bento box because I was concerned about the smaller one not being large enough to hold enough food to satisfy my appetite. The product is well-made and includes 2 dividers, a leak-proof sauce cup, and utensils (knife, fork, and spoon). Sadly, it doesn't include chopsticks. The two main containers are both spacious with plenty of room for just about anything you might want to put into them. The dividers fit pretty tightly, though they won't provide a water-tight seal, so they won't keep "wet" foods from leaking into each other. The lids fit tightly and seem to be leak proof (I haven't really tried to make them leak). The lid for the top container has a lip at one corner that is, unfortunately, not present on the lid for the bottom container. There's little to grab hold of on the lid for the bottom container, so it is a bit more difficult to get the bottom lid to open. So far, I'm very pleased with this product and it has helped me in my goal of reducing the amount of fast food I eat at lunch. I'd recommend getting a good bento cookbook to go with it -- "The Just Bento Cookbook" is the one I'm currently using.

Excellent! Sleek, sturdy and perfect for meals on the go!
I've been using this Bento box since I received it to transport healthy lunches to work, the pool and on the go. It holds quite a bit for the size. I've been able to fit a large sandwich in one compartment and a full selection of sides (fruit, crackers and cheese, hummus and veggies, chips and dip) in the second compartment. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it will hold. The utensils have come in quite handy and are sturdier than expected, since my office does not have disposable ones on hand. The seals between compartments seems to be quite leak proof and air tight. I have had no problems thus far and love the strap that keeps everything contained. The construction of the box is very sturdy and overall, everything is made well and held up with washing, etc. Aesthetically, it is beautiful and clean, and numerous coworkers have commented on how compact and adorable it is. The seller was phenomenal and even followed up via email with some tips and tricks for using a bento box. Considering this was the first such box I have ever purchased, it was extremely helpful. I am considering purchasing more for my kids' lunches for school. I give this product and the seller a perfect score. Ten out of ten!! Definitely purchase this if you are looking for a great, sleek option to transport food for the day!!!

It is a beautiful box but it leaks through on the other side of the divider, if you have any wet liquid

Have been using this bento box for about 3 months now. Says dishwasher safe, nope. Warped so I could barley get the lids on. Ok, hand wash it is. Now the gaskets around the lid are falling off and it is even harder to get the lid on. I am very disappointed with the quality of this product, it was perfect in theory's. Came with utensils and was the perfect size. Now only if the quality was better…

I initially loved this Beto box for its size and design, however after a handful of washes in the dishwasher, the plastic warped a lot. The plastic lid is difficult to line up with its box, I need to pry open the plastic box to fit the lid. The bamboo lid is completely stuck to the lid below it and cannot come apart without prying open with a knife. I’m pretty disappointed and expected more for the price. Definitely feel like I wasted a lot of money.
