My journal came after only 3 days. It was packaged in a padded mailer with bubble wrap and enclosed in a black cardboard sleeve, very professional and well protected. The journal is surprisingly made of quality material, looking and feeling like a soft leather. I chose white and it looks just like the picture. The tree is actually embossed on the cover, very classy. And there is beautiful stitching all around the cover both front and back. The pages are lined and seem thick enough, a little thicker than printer paper weight. It's constructed the same way as a book cover would be so that the paper can be removed and refills easily replaced. The magnetic closure is snug. The pen holder will accommodate most pens, but I would try cheap ones first to make sure it fits the way you want before buying anything expensive. I have a skinny pen and it's a bit loose, but the cap holds it in place nicely. It also has a nice ribbon to mark your page. Very nice design, quality product.

The size is perfect. The refillable journal paper is high quality - I write on both sides with a ball point ink pen and cannot see what's written on the backside of the page. The line spaces are perfectly sized. It is very important to note - the REFILLABLE journal is STITCHED, not stapled or glued! The Tree of Life cover in blue is not only beautiful, but it looks and feels good in the hand. The magnetic flap works very well and is strong enough to hold my larger barreled pen. I spent hours researching and mulling over which journal to purchase, and am very happy I chose The Amazing Office Journal!

I ordered this journal for my daughter, who is headed off to study in Madrid for a semester. I wanted a sturdy, practical but special journal that she could use for thoughts, notes, scrapbooking, etc. This product was just perfect. She LOVES the blue color. The feel of the jacket material is luxe, soft, elegant. The simple magnet clasp seems sturdy and will continue to work. Pages are of a nice quality. All in all, really happy with the quality for the price. I may just need to order one for ME!

I bought the white cover with the black tree on it. I use it for taking notes at writers' conferences and author talks, so I like that the design hints at creativity while the quality makes it look classy and professional. Pros: The vegan leather and stitching looks and feels high-quality. It lays flat for easy writing and is stiff enough that I can write on my lap. The refillable insert is tucked into pockets in the two covers; at first I worried that the ridge of the pocket would be felt while writing the first few or last few pages, but it wasn't a problem. The magnetic clasp works well. Unlike many these days, the pen loop is wide enough for my pens (the kind with rubber grips). I have always used college-ruled notebooks, but discovered that I actually prefer wide-ruled now. Cons: The vegan leather had an unpleasant smell when I first received it, but that faded pretty quickly. More of a problem is that the black ink of the tree design is already starting to come off. When it first arrived it was gorgeous. But after only two trips in my bag, there are little white holes, and a smear on the trunk. I kept the original sleeve it shipped in and will try carrying it in that from now on. Warning: be careful about anything that might chip at the design, and don't get the paint/ink wet.

I got this originally with the intent of just gifting it to a friend. However, when I was looking it over more, I decided I had to get one too, and I'm SO glad I did. The magnetic strip that is in front is great, and is sturdy enough where you can slide and clip a pen on the strap so you can always have a writing instrument with you. It has the ability to lay flat when you get to a new page for writing or drawing, and that is super nice so you don't have to worry about other pages falling on you while writing. Overall, it's an amazing journal, with great craftsmanship, and is refillable! So I'm excited to use it for years to come.

I bought this lovely journal using Amazon USA for a family member, the whole family are on military deployment from the U.K., we want to do our best to show we are still here and supporting them. We thought the journal would be a nice way to keep a record of the family’s adventures while they are living in the states, the lady has told us that the gift is beautiful, a high standard of finish and a lovely colour, it is already being put to good use, from my point of view, over here in the U.K., I have had two nice messages from the supplier making sure I am happy, I was also kept updating on the delivery, I felt very confident in the service provided, I will use this supplier again

I'm very pleased with my new journal. I chose the blue one and love the color. The journal is very soft to the touch and it is very sturdy. It is the perfect size for me; not too big, not too small, and there is plenty of writing room per page. I like the magnetic close tab on the front. I also bought a new red fountain pen that fits nicely in the pen holder. Great look with the two colors. If you purchase this journal, you will be pleased. A good investment.

Beautifully made. Feels high quality. I have the blue journal with the tree on the front. The tree is mostly black, but has sort of a shimmery sheen to it - very pretty. I'm using this as my reading journal to keep track of books I've read and favorite quotes from them. I love that I can just buy a new insert when this one is filled. The insert that comes with it is wide-ruled. I usually prefer college-ruled but I've found that I don't mind this one at all. However if I change my mind, I've found that this same company offers a college-ruled refill as well. I love the magnetic closure, ribbon bookmark, and pen loop.

Disappointed with the quality of the product for the price.
