Carson Dellosa The 100+ Series: Human Body Workbook, Grades 5-8

This is a good workbook to accompany whichever book on the human body you are learning from. This book is best used as 'homework' fun activities to make sure that you remember what you learned. There isn't any reading material,you have to use a regular textbook to learn the subject matter. I am an adult college student,I am using this book after I read my chapters to keep the knowledge fresh in my head. I draw and color on the pages with a colored pencil to help me remember certain things. This book would be good for home schooled kids,a supplement to regular homework,or as a fun refresher to brush up on anatomy and a little physiology that is included. There are 100 pages of activities,the rest is the answer key. The pages are double sided and they do tear out,so you could easily copy the pages. I love this little supplement,just remember that this isn't a book to learn the material,it's just crossword puzzles,matching games,and other activities to help you retain what you learned.

Worked great for homeschooling

Overall, not a bad workbook. We have many medical/emt/fire books so we have the info needed to fill out the book. HOWEVER, it would be nice for a teachers edition to this book so children can learn before "guessing" answers.

It looks fantastic for high school biology, but just a little too tough for my 7th graders. I ordered the Life Science one for 5th-8th grade and that is better for my kids.

I purchased the pdf version. It’s perfect. I have lots of different books for my 9 yo daughter to read about the human body. This was a great way to identify what we learned. I can just print out the sheet we need depending on which system we are working on. Great for unit studies!

This has great work sheets. It would be perfect in addition to a lesson plan, but this does not have a lesson plan so when it came up under homeschooling curriculum, I would say that’s not exactly accurate.

Great book for homeschooling 🙂

I love this workbook and will use it in homeschool for my daughter. It is well suited for grades 5-8 just as it states. The book has easy tear out pages if you need and makes learning about the human body fun.
