While still very thin, this plastic mulch seems sturdier and less prone to tearing than other similar products I have tried in the past. I can't comment yet on how well it degrades.

Thin tears very easily.

Like to use it between rows in my garden to keep weeds at bay which is very helpful. After the season ends I put it in my compost pile but it does not decompose well (but maybe my compost isn't hot enough) so we put it in our burn pile.

This film is very thin. It tores by any touch or wind. It does not seem letting water going through. I installed it in spring, and now, 5 months later, it does not show any signs of dissolving.
