After purchasing this same poncho in blue for my son, I also purchased one for myself in pink. The workmanship is of excellent quality. The fabric is very soft yet absorbent. The poncho is midcalf on me, but feels lightweight. This is perfect as a beach coverup and for lounging.

This is very light weight, I mean it is nice, but if you've ever bought a Mexican poncho from Juarez or Tiajuana this cloth is about half the weight. It is very comfortable, I'm a big guy and it still fits quite loosely. I'm 6'3" and it falls well below my knees. I suspect it doesn't block UV that well, so don't skip the sunscreen.

Been on a 2 month trip and after the first month I had a rip on the shoulder. No idea how it happened. I’m 5’8 187LBs only use this when changing clothes at the beach or after showers. All other times I had this packed away in my packing cube. Hand washed and air dry. So I have no idea how it ripped. The website has been down, so this is why I’m leaving a review like this. It was great before the ripped. Maybe used less than a hand full of times at home before I went on my trip. I love the size. Lightweight not heavy like my sandtowel. Which was why I took it with on me the trip however for durability, it’s unfortunate did not work out. Which is very upsetting but I did love this a lot. The pictures I took was the rip on the left side and on the right I can see it getting loose if I would assume maybe 4-5 more uses that right side would be ripping too.

I bought navy blue and turquoise robes and towels for my niece and her husband to leave here for when they visit. They loved them but I ended up giving them to some other guests who also loved them. I had to replace the ones for my family. After all that generosity I had to buy one of the robes for myself ☺️. Both of the navy robes do not have the expected breast pockets which is a bit disappointing. It does not matter so much to me but it’s something to know. They wash and dry so nicely with just a little bit of lint (the photo is of one laundering of five pieces). It did not stick to other clothing (per the original sets). The navy fabric is just about wrinkle free after the washer and dryer. The turquoise is fairly wrinkled but they are both already softer. They aren’t super absorbent but they will get better with laundering. The hoods are all generous enough without being overwhelming. Other than the missing pockets and somewhat different knotting techniques (all knots stayed knotted, yay!) these seem to be about the same and as described though I did not measure them. That’s me in the photo. I’m 5’2” and about 145#. The other four folks I gave them too range in weight and height significantly (one is fairly heavy, another is quite tall. All are are a little to a lot taller and heavier than I am) and yet they fit everybody perfectly (loosely and comfortably below the knees)! How can that be? It must be magic 🤩

Update: After a few months I finally got a response from the manufacturer and they took good care of me. They told me that products are handmade so imperfections are possible and I encouraged them to ensure costumers can communicate with them in these situations! I’m updating my rating from 2 to 4 stars; great product and great customer service policy when you do finally hear from them. Original review: I’m really bummed to give a negative review for this product, since I love the actual product itself. I compared it to a few other Turkish towel surf ponchos and it was my favorite. However, one of the seams along the shoulder has a sewing defect and is coming apart—and the Amazon seller nor manufacturer have responded to any of my efforts to contact them, even though I’ve tried multiple avenues and given a few weeks to hear back. So if you buy this, consider Amazon’s 30 day return period to be the product’s warranty period and give it a very thorough look over for defects before that period ends. I wish I’d noticed the bad seam within those 30 days when I could have exchanged it. So I’ll give two stars since the product actually is pretty nice, but have to remove most stars due to the defect and lack of support.

Exactly as described! Color is as picture shows and the fabric is beautiful and soft. Glad I decided to make this purchase. Sellers were friendly and provided recommendations to make sure we care for and can have this garment for a long time! Worth the cost for the quality, softness and sturdiness of this garment. Would recommend!

Just didn’t love the style of this cover-up. It does look very unattractive on. It is slightly useful as a blanket to sit on the sand but really you could use any cover-up.

I really like this product. The material is soft and absorbent and it’s really great to have a portable change room when wanting to get out of a wet bathing suit in a public place. I really enjoyed using this product after a chilly swim in eastern Canada would buy again.

J'apprecie vraiment ce vêtement pour me changer a l'abris des regards sur une plage, la qualité du tissus est bonne et le cotton est vraiment doux, le seul point négatif est que j'aurais voulu la version avec les petits boutons comme affiché au lieu d'avoir reçu celui avec une fermeture éclaire, je trouve ce vêtement plus beau avec les boutons.
