SOLOVEDRESS Women's Beaded Pleat Lace Wedding Dress Mermaid Bridal Gown with Sash

This dress is fabulous! The dress arrived! I don’t know where to start. I am very grateful for this dress. What a find! So, I am taking my time to write a helpful review. And I hope you like to read. I am having a cruise wedding with family and some friends. It is not a super formal wedding, so I was not looking for an extremely luxurious dress. But I still wanted the dress to look like a wedding gown. Here are some aspects that I hope help you decide: Shipping/delivery time: I placed my order late at night on Thursday, January 26. The dress was estimated to be delivered between March 17 and April 19. I was waiting anxiously, but to my surprise the dress arrived today! So, it took only 9 business days (13 days including weekend days) for Solovedress to deliver it at my door. Packaging: The dress comes protected by a nice industrial “Ziploc” bag inside the DHL envelope. Please be aware there is a tiny Ziploc bag with the bridal sage inside. I hadn’t noticed that this small bag with the bridal belt had fallen in the dining room as I took the dress to my bedroom. And I was still satisfied even if they had forgotten to include the bridal sage! Everything came in very good order. Appearance: The dress is much prettier than what all our pictures show. It has a classic and feminine wedding gown design. The top has a beautiful work with diagonal pleats. The bottom of the dress is finished with a lace applique that can be removed and put it back by your seamstress if you need alterations (shorten). The bottom is also beautifully made shorter at the front (floor length) and longer at the back; a beautiful bridal train. By the way, I ordered champagne, since I asked all my female guests to wear white clothes and male guests will wearing beige or khaki pants with white dress shirts. The champagne color in this dress is like a vanilla (ice) cream. So, it has more of a light tint of yellow other than taupe. This champagne tone does not have a light tint of brown. I really like it! It is exactly what I wanted. But the color is a matter of taste. Quality: Contrary to a couple of other reviewers, I consider this dress NOT to have any cheap look and feel at all. The lining (dress underneath the lace fabric) is satin and the lace is very pretty. It is very well made. Also, I do not find the bridal sage cheesy. I think it is a major bonus and it accentuates and defines the waist. The bridal sage matches the color of the dress perfectly too. How it fits: After reading the reviews, I decided to order one size bigger than what I usually wear. I am 5’2” and I weigh 115 lb. The dress fits me quite well. I guess I will look better when someone helps put it on. You will need someone to help you button the built-in bra and lace up the corset feature on the back. I decided to bustle the dress, so I ordered an underskirt petticoat, and then I’ll try it on with it, so my seamstress will know exactly what to do with the length. Also, I am a little afraid of strapless dresses (LOL), so I will add a satin strap around my neck for style and safety.  Price: The price is unbelievable! I know a girl who bought her dress in a consignment store and still paid more than what we are paying for this dress. Now, I will tell you a secret. I had been reading these reviews for a couple of months… The week I decided to buy it, the dress (some options) went on sale, and the price had gone down to $57.00 with shipping the total cost would be only $72.98. But when I clicked “proceed to check out," I saw that Amazon was offering me a credit card with $70.00 gift $$! Summing up, I paid only $2.98 out of my pocket! I’m in cloud 9 right now. :-D Customer service: The vendor is sooo polite and attentive! I confess I was anxious in the first week. So, I contacted the vendor who promptly responded with the detailed status of my order. Needless to say, I highly recommend this dress. P.S.: I will post pictures of the wedding in July.

I bought this to use on a mannequin for my Etsy store. I make bridal sashes and accessories and needed an inexpensive wedding gown for photos. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. You should know that there is no zipper in the back. It has a corset style back and looks nice when laced up. Also, I was happy to discover that it includes a bra closure to keep the bodice sturdy an prevent the dress from sliding down while wearing. Basically it is the bottom strap of a bra that is attached inside at the left and right bodice seams and closes on your back just like a bra. It is obviously hidden and covered by the back of the dress. I was impressed by how much this helps with keeping the dress sturdy and looking fitted. It really is a lovely gown. It arrived boxed and enclosed in a beautiful zip closure gown bag. I removed it and was able to begin using right away. The lining is a sturdy satin fabric. The satin was obviously wrinkled from being folded, but I couldn't even tell once it was on. If this was being worn for a wedding I would pay a dry cleaner to have it professionally pressed prior to your big day. The lace is beautiful and really makes this a very romantic and elegant gown. If you are purchasing for your wedding I think you will be very happy. I'd order it early to make sure it fits well. Obviously this isn't an expensive gown, but it really does look lovely and would be ideal for a bride on a budget. You can add some color by ordering or making a unique bridal sash of your own, or use the one that comes with the gown. But honestly, it looks very nice without the sash too. I'll add some photos soon.

The dress is absolutely gorgeous and very well made. I custom ordered to my measurements, and I wish I would have taken a few of inches off of the waist and bust because the corset gives quite a bit of sizing flexibility. As is, I need to tighten the corset all the way to fit properly, and if I lose any weight between now and my November wedding, I will need to have some areas taken in. I consider that to be lack of foresight on my part, and am only including it in my review in case it might be helpful for anyone else placing a custom order :) I was pleasantly surprised to find a mermaid hoop crinoline included in the package! I wasn't a big fan of the metal hoop, but it was easily removed and the mesh at the bottom of the slip adds just enough volume without being too much for me. Looks like the hoop could easily be slipped back in, and is designed to be adjustable so you can chose the volume at the bottom of the skirt. The included sash is very pretty, but the rhinestones on the applique are set in silver, which doesn't go with my accessories. The applique is tacked onto the ribbon sash with thread, so it is sturdy enough to stay in place if you do like it, but will be very simple to remove and replace if you like the ribbon but prefer a different style of applique. Overall, I don't think you can find another dress with such great quality at such a reasonable price point. I tried on several at David's Bridal, but am so glad I chose to take the risk and order this dress instead. I saved hundreds (if not a thousand +) and ended up with a dress I like better than anything I tried on in-store.

I know what you are thinking.... You like this dress in the pictures but you are nervous. You’re thinking you can’t possibly buy a wedding dress made in China from Amazon! Let me tell you, you totally can!!! This dress is awesome in every way. First of all, it arrived so quickly, I still can’t believe it. Second, the lace is GORGEOUS. Third, it’s well constructed and the fabric doesn’t feel or look cheap at all (I cut a few loose strands but no big deal there!). Fourth, the size was perfect, it fits my body so well (I followed the chart. For reference I’m 5’6” and 161 lbs and I got the size 14). With high heels on it’s the perfect length. I don’t need to change anything or have it altered in any way. Fifth, the price. THE PRICE! A perfect, gorgeous wedding dress for $125 including the shipping? Yes please!!! This dress looks just as good (if not more) than several dresses I tried on at a wedding boutique but that were close to $1000!! I’m not lying. And this dress is light and won’t be too hot for my June wedding. So stop doubting! Order it. You’ll be happy you listened to me :) Also, check the reviews for this same dress on amazon.com, there are hundreds of positive reviews and pictures from real people like you and I wearing it. It really helps to see how the dress fits on different body types. Bottom line is, this dress is perfect and I can’t wait to marry the love of my life in it. Update after the wedding: I received so many compliments! This dress truly was perfect.

Me encantó, encontré de oferta la talla 4 y decidí comprarlo, pensé que me iba a quedar chico pero no, me quedó muy bien, lo que no me gustó mucho es que si no se tiene cuidado con la cinta de enmedio el adorno puede jalar algunos hilos del vestido y estropearlo.

I love this dress. Fit well, quality material, and held up all day in the mountains. I lucked out and didn’t need any alterations except a bustle for the train. 10/10 recommend to anyone.

The dress is stunning! Got lots of compliments on it. I had the fast shipping and it did take a few weeks to get to me. Overall I’m very happy with the dress but I did send them my measurements and the corset back had to be as tight as possible for it to fit me which was disappointing because I wanted a corset back and you couldn’t tell that it was one. I still had to pull my top up at Times because it would inch down. Other than that the dress looked and felt great! Definitely worth the money

The size chart is way off. I ordered 2 sizes bigger and the dress is still snug. I am hoping I can find someone to properly alter it. Dress is beautiful tho and looks just like the pic. I have received the best customer service ever from this company. They are amazing.
