Flat Shoelaces 5/16 Wide Solid Colors Several Lengths For Sneakers and Shoes

Got them real quick. I've had these before - they stay tied. It's a miracle, don't loosen up either.

After my sweet dog chewed the custom laces on my Sorels for a second time, I had to find replacements. The knots holding them together were making it hard to have enough lace to tie them. The boots are navy blue rubber for top of shoe part and houndstooth pattern cloth for top of boot in medium blue and rust. The custom laces that came with the boot were turquoise and rust sort of plaid. Believe me, it was difficult finding a pair of laces that were approximately the correct width. Length was no problem. Finally found these and the navy blue is almost the same color as the rubber part and only slightly darker than the houndstooth pattern for upper part. They are wide enough so they don't look like I've got strings running through the metal loops of the boot. Color choices were good. Product is good. Price was right.

This is a "dual-review" of two different pairs of laces: flat laces (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ESVW41K) and round laces (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EM1YCT8). I had recently bought a pair of dress shoes (sort of moderately dressy) and didn't expect the laces that came with them to last long (seems they never do). In the hope that these would fare better, I bought two pairs of laces, one round and the other flat. The original laces with the shoes only lasted 44 days. I replaced the laces with one each of these new laces, flat on the left, round on the right. That was on November 23, 2014. In early May of 2015 the round pair showed signs of wear and were clearly beginning to fail. On May 31, 2015 the round lace broke. The flat pair shows only very minimal signs of wear. So, the round lace lasted 189 days, about six months and a week. I have replaced both laces with the second from each pair, putting the flat on the right shoe this time and the round on the left, in case I'm unconsciously harder on the right lace. I will update this post when the next lace breaks. At this point, I am reasonably satisfied with the round lace. Six months is a reasonable life expectancy for a shoe lace for shoes worn daily (or nearly so). I am more impressed with the flat laces, which I believe will last significantly longer (stay tuned). So, for now, five starts for flat, four for round. On March 9, 2016, the flat shoelace on my right shoe broke. It lasted 283 days on the right shoe. The round lace on the left shoe was just about to break, so I'll call it a tie this time. I think I must be rougher on my right shoelace than the left. I still think the flat laces are a bit better than the round pair in terms of expected lifespan but I'm willing to improve my rating on the round pair to five. Both very good shoelaces.

Exactly what they said they were. However I'm such a dingbat I didn't realize these were only 28" lol they are laces for a toddler/kids shoe. Lol 🤣🤣🤣 I had a good laugh when I opened them. The quality and color was great. Would buy again but in the correct length. Lol

OK here’s the deal on these shoe laces. These are nice shoe laces. They are light pink, slightly brighter than the picture. They are nice and long and worked well for a pair of Converse I have. They are wide without being too wide, and they are long enough to work with most shoes. I like that these are not overly thin laces. That is all I can think of to say about these shoe laces. I mean, they are just shoe laces. However, Amazon likes it when I leave nice, long reviews with lots of words so, here I am, blabbering on and on about a pair or light pink shoe laces. I would absolutely order them again (and I have in several colors) as it is hard to find nice shoe laces that are long enough to fit shoes similar in style to Converse.

Very well constructed boots. Please be advised that you need to size up. I reordered after my original order of a size 8. I bumped it up to 8 1/2 and then it fit me. The soles of the boots are quite hard. It gives a very satisfying tap tap every time you make a step. Almost like when someone is wearing heels. It grabs peoples attention but I like it and it's in a good way. The only thing I will say is if you are trying to walk her quietly it's not always the easiest thing. You might also benefit from an insole if you find that it's putting to much pressure on the ball of your foot since the sole is so hard. That being said generally speaking I would say that the shoes fit very well they are very comfortable and if you feel the need to customize and tweak them a little bit they are very amenable to that and at that point would be the perfect boot
