Despite the smoke detector "hush" feature, tenants disconnect detectors from time to time for reasons such as someone burning toast, engaging in cigarette/pot smoking, or vaping. The grill prevents tampering, or at least gives morons pause to consider the seriousness of their stupidity.

Simple installation and definitely Keeps my tenants from tampering with the smoke detectors.

It’s a good quality nice and heavy duty but it’s really expensive. It’s good quality no doubt but it’s $40 good for the cage
