If you are running a 20amp feed (proper wire and breaker) without a lot of other draws, you will be fine. Without me asking a lot of questions and covering a lot of variables, I will say that if your outlet is wired the same as it was when it was built, you will be more than covered. **Q: Does this Power Cord work for Insinkerator evolution septic assist garbage disposals?** A: Yes it did work very well **Q: what wires are correct for polarity ?** A: The ribbed wire is the neutral. **Q: Do you have longer cords, like 6'?** A: No, only this length. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy-to-use products *by W***I on 27 August 2024* Received it. It has been installed. It's just right! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was far easier to use than I thought *by A***N on 17 September 2026* Not sure how anyone could have issues with this. I have zero electrical background and this was absolutely bonkers easy to attach to our new insinkerator garbage disposal. From opening the box to having it attached it was less than 15 minutes and it easily would be 5 minutes on the next one. The cord is the right length, the instructions were fine. I had no issues at all getting my new garbage disposal to work and I considered purchasing a step-down garbage disposal that had a built-in power cord. I'm glad I didn't go that route. ## Frequently Bought Together - INSINKERATOR Garbage Disposal 3-Foot Power Cord Installation Kit for Standard Series (Badger) Food Waste Disposer Models, CRD-00 - InSinkErator Badger 5XP Garbage Disposal, Standard Series 3/4 HP Continuous Feed Food Waste Disposer, Black / Stainless - InSinkErator Garbage Disposal Dishwasher Connector Kit, DWC-00, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nz/products/263801638-insinkerator-garbage-disposal-power-cord-kit-crd-00-black](https://www.desertcart.nz/products/263801638-insinkerator-garbage-disposal-power-cord-kit-crd-00-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart New Zealand* *Store origin: NZ* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
