Okay but flimsy paper
I buy numerous patterns, especially 18th century clothing patterns. This pattern has multiple sizes which means you can trace the one you want and not cut up the original. Which is great if you are making many different sizes. However the bad part is the paper is very very thin. I am not sure that when tracing over it will not just shred. I know they want to make it as light weight as possible but if it was pinned just once it would not survive another pinning.I have not used it yet for this reason. The instructions look adequate enough and complete enough but I can't make myself work with it because it is sooo thin. This might not be an issue for some if you are only making one garment however I will make many.I do believe the designer has done much research to come up with this design and this is a style of bedgown (jacket) that would have been worn in the 1700's.Hope this helped someone - I would probably buy again simply because I do 18th century sewing and it is authentic to the time period.
