This is a classic mallets book for good reason! It has exercises in every key, starts slowly and logically, and has short melodies to make learning the keys fun! It goes through the gamut of two mallet playing from beginner to advanced excerpts. I would highly recommend it!

I really like the sequential order of the exercises in this book. It is great for teaching yourself. One thing that I wish was included is more written information on sticking and mallets. I do appreciate that R L is often marked on the music.
