This functions well, has two USB C ports, and doesn't get hot like some have. I use it every night for my phone and watch and make sure to unplug it when charging is done. I take it with me on every trip and it's a perfect size to tuck into a backpack. The blue light is quite bright. I've considered buying some of those light blocking stickers to cover it because if I'm facing it while laying down at night, I can see the light through my eyelids, even though it's 3-4 feet away. Still, I knew I was getting a decent product because of the name and my history with them, and I was not proven wrong.

I have the 20w Anker nano. I recently forgot it before packing to stay somewhere. While all my stuff had died I only had enough power in my phone to order a new charger before it also died as I'm nowhere near any stores. I saw this 40w and with a plus it has two USB-C ports. I have an old pixel 3xl and an iPhone 12 and I also have ankers braided cables for each type. Both ports are USB-C capable of fast charge, the unit does not include cables so do keep in mind if you don't have the required cables. It arrived the next day, while all my stuff was dead, I decided to charge my phone first on its own ..it nearly charged my iphone 12 from 0% to 94% in about half an hour. The power this thing transfers is pretty great. I've only felt it gets slightly warm while charging my pixel 3xl and iPhone 12 together. I do notice it starts trickling the charge around 95% which I'm sure is to not overload the batteries. This thing charges really fast on an individual device, but it's still moderately good charging two things at once. I'm sure the light is only a power indicator that it's plugged in. But, it would've been neat if Anker would've made it so it changed color like red (25% lower), orange (around 50%), yellow (around 75%), green (fully charged) depending on a devices charge percentage and blue to indicate the block is plugged in to the wall and receiving power. Connecting two devices to charge will split the whole 40w and deliver 20w to each port. Charging a single device the chip will detect its max peak wattage allowed to deliver power. Overall it's fast and reliable, pair it with ankers 60w braided power handling cables and it should deliver a fast charge to any quick charge devices.

Works as advertised. Will it last? Only time will tell. Right now, two weeks after purchasing, it works flawlessly.
