When you love your birds, but are on a budget!
I have 20 birds. 19 chickens and one accidental rooster(he was supposed to a girl, but by the time I realized he wasn’t, I already loved him too ) and I love every single one of them! My flock are my pets, and I treat them the same as I would a dog or a cat. So when I did my research for food, I found this to be the best quality, with the most nutrients, at a very affordable price! It’s the equivalent to salmon and steamed broccoli for us! It doesn’t have a harsh or oily smell, which is nice, my birds seem to have no issues with digestion, even if they bury all their grit, and I don’t realize it for a while, and even though they put up a bit of a resistance when I switch them from crumbles to pellets (they went about a day and a half on a hunger strike before they finally came in), now they eat it like I starve them, lol!! I do mix in some henhouse reserve from the same company as well, but that’s quite a bit more expensive and more for flavor and to treat my girls and Dorian (my rooster). These pellets are what they need and has everything they need in it to be good layers of organic eggs. And for 20 birds, one bag lasts almost a month! With the henhouse reserve which is 35 pounds, I got a month and a half worth of food!

Better than Purina
This is the best feed I have found so far for our girls. With this feed I have noticed better shells and yokes compared to Purina, by far. Also, the shells have more color and even more speckling.

No corn feed
Very nutrition my chickens need a bit pricey but reasonable considering no corn in feed

Believe it or not, eggs look and taste better
Good in-good out. Everyone has commented on the richness of the egg yolks. My ladies love it, and I am indeed using less feed. Nobody around me carries this, so thanks, Amazon!

this layer feed is the best pellets used for chickens to help lay!!

Good quality
Great quality, but it is over priced. I was not able to pick this product up from my local feed store, so I loved the convience that this arrived UPS. Well worth it for my situation.

Stopped laying.
Since starting on this feed (4th bag) my hens have stopped producing eggs at all. We went from having way too many eggs to 0 coming from 9 hens.
