Terrible
Terrible. When closed, the glasses are too big to be held in place like a monicle. When open, the glasses don't stay on your nose. Also, when worn like a monicle it does not focus. I ordered a 1.5 magnification, which is what I use for regular reading glasses. That focus only works when the lens is at a distance like you have with regular eye glasses. When worn as a monicle, the lens is much closer to the eye and whoever manufactured this didn't take that into consideration. So when worn as a monicle, nothing is in focus.

Too big to Fit in my husbands eye like he wanted
But still Really cool! And being able to open it is awesome as well. I would say this is great for a prop, not for actual reading.Made us both smile and the use in silly videos has been worth the money 10 times over.

So many compliments, wish it came in other colors!
I love the convenience of this piece and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it since I’ve started using it. My complaints are that it gets pretty finger printed up after a couple of uses; it’s very hard to open without this happening. And I didn’t love the chain it came on so i switched it out with one of my own. I will be buying another one as a preemptive replacement for when this one inevitably breaks due to normal usage.

Great idea but not well made
One lens fell out and it does not close tightly. The nose rest is too wide so have to hold with one hand

Too large - not a useful monocle
This monocle is so large there is no way to use it like an actual reading monocle which is how it is advertised. The split down the middle makes it hard to use even as a magnifying glass. If you want to hold it up like glasses it does some good, but certainly not worth the price. I also have requested a response from the seller twice about returning the item and have received no response.

lens popped out, nylon string broke
Cool idea, bought for my character at Ren Fest. However, the lens popped out, the nylon string holding it in had broke the second time I opened it up to use it.
