I had lost track of time and didn't put Mr. Plumber down my shower drain soon enough and water was backing up over my feet. I really thought I was going to have to call a plumber to come in and snake the drain. I was able to sit down and fish out long strands of ickyness and throw it all away. The drain is now clear. We wanted a drain cover for our kitchen sink so I wanted to see what was available in a shower drain cover as well. Just used it 2 days ago for the first time. Fits our drain perfectly, very sticky and caught more hair than I thought possible. I was only getting like 3 - 6 hairs off the drain and floor when I would clean before I took my shower. After shampooing and using conditioner, hair comes out easily and I put it off to the side so I really thought I was getting the majority of the hair. Well, I still am, but the fact is the little ball I pulled off this shower cover after I was done, shocked me! Maybe like 10 - 15 hairs or so were wrapped in a neat circle!! Also, when I first ran the water, it didn't drain right away and flooded a bit, but it broke the seal and went down and was fine for the rest of the shower. Freaked me out for a moment though. lol. So, it's still sticking to the drain - didn't lift up after all that water went through it. Drains and works well. It did seem a little pricey to me, but you do get 25 in a pack, so that makes them .48 cents each. I don't know. Hopefully, one lasts for a long time and it stays stuck to the drain for a long time. It's worth a try to see if it works for you and hopefully you can avoid potentially future plumbing bills. Good luck! :-)

These guys got it right! The tape is double-sided, so these have a complete tape surface to stick to the top of my shower drain surface, and the tape doesn't warp with hot water, so they stay stuck down, covering the drain and preventing things from falling through the "too large" holes in my drain, yea! The mesh could be slightly smaller, to be sure and catch tiny earrings and backs. They are designed to stay in place for several showers, and they do exactly that! And they DO catch the hair! I don't shed much, but they prevent what I shed from going down the drain - meaning no more icky clogs! Yea! And they are easy to simply gather up any lost hair, and toss it after the shower, so it doesn't stay in the drain to annoy others who may use the shower after me. They perfectly fit my round drain, so all holes are covered, and there are no edges sticking up to prevent them adhering properly. The little tab on the edge means there is something to get ahold of when you are ready to remove them, and the tape and net are sturdy enough to last a week or more before they need to be replaced, so I can simply change them when I do my regular scrub down of my shower - easy and appropriate! I know these are sold as hair catchers, and they work perfectly for that, but my real concern is losing my jewelry through a drain that isn't designed to prevent that. Eventually, I will remodel my shower, and when I do, I will ensure that I have a drain cover that will prevent that earrings and earring backs, chains, and rings from slipping through the "too large" holes in my drain which has no screen "backup" and no way to add one, so, for now, these drain "catchers" will prevent lost earrings, chains, and other jewelry that I keep forgetting to take off before showering, from being lost forever down the drain, so they are perfect! They are a light cream color which should blend well with most showers. These guys got it right, on all points, I would be putting these on subscription if it were possible, so I'm adding them to my shopping list. I am buying these because they are perfect to meet my need, NOT because they are DEI, the fact they they are pushing that they should get special treatment because of their small business/minority status as a business is actually the only negative I have - I generally avoid companies that use the excuse that their product doesn't have to perform because their company owners should get "special" treatment - as a minority myself, seems racist to me and therefore offensive. I different, lower performance criteria because of a genetic (minority?) component for the owners? Not. However, their details on the page looked like they might actually have a quality product which would meet any standard, so I took a chance. Their product does meet my stringent performance requirement, so, Stand on the quality of your excellent product, that is special enough!

Works as described, easy to install, did catch all of our long curly hairs, only downside if it can be called that, is you will need to change frequently if using for long hair.

Works great! I have very long hair so it's good to catch it before it goes into the drain. The drain cover that comes with the tub would still let hair get into it and the clean-out chore would be nasty. This disposable catcher attached easily. I thoroughly cleaned the area of the tub beforehand so that it would stick well. I have already used the same one a few times and am quite happy with it. It has a smooth surface so the hair just slides right off to remove it with a tissue.

I was skeptical when I first opened the package, however, upon following the instructions, they work really well. I was using a wire drain stopper before that would quickly become dirty but this one is good with hair tapping and dirt trapping. It also has not lifted when cleaning the tub, which is a plus!

This works pretty well. I DON’T understand why, given that it is to be stuck down to cover the drain — and it is sticky on both the top and the bottom. WTH?! It makes it hard to press down when it’s sticky on the top too.

Finally a strainer that works for a shower. I have tried multiple reusable ones where the hair slides under the edges. This adheres to the shower drain so hair cannot slide under. Even though it’s throw away, it can be used for many showers. Water flow is fine in my shower. We do have a water saving head and there’s no issue with water pooling. (May be another story if you have a full flow head)

The first one stuck well and isn't breaking down. This pack really doesn't need to have 25 of them :)

Work great for keeping hair from going down and clogging the drain. One lasts me about 2 months.

The size is not fit to the purpose, quality of product is very bad and in replacement they send only 5 pieces , no return only replacement is available . Inspite of request to send bigger size they send the same size and less pieces , it's not recommended

Size issue so, I have return. This item

What a ridiculous product it is. It doesn't stick at all. Total waste of time & money.
