My GSD has been getting this topper since she was a 2 mo old puppy and now she is 2 yrs old. She loves it and so do my other dogs. The quality is consistent.

In October 2017, our beloved Golden Retriever was diagnosed with GI cancer, and given 6-8 weeks to live. Over the next few weeks, she would not eat any of her food, lost 12% of her body weight and became frail/listless/unhappy. Our breeder gave us a bag of TruDog Boost Me, just to see if it helped at all. Well, immediately, our girl went crazy for the food we were putting the Boost Me on. She loves the smell and taste. Within a week or so, we noticed she was very active and playful...and putting some weight back on. She is more spry and happy than she has been in years. Although she is on some medicines to make her comfortable during her fight with cancer (because she is almost 10, the Vet has recommended making her final days comfortable instead of opening her up with surgery and chemo), I believe the renewed "puppy-like" attitude she has taken on is due to the supplements in the TruDog. As of this coming Friday, it will have been 12 weeks since she was given 6-8 to live. She shows no signs of the cancer that we know is in her. We are thankful for this time and continue to order a bag of TruDog every week. (It needs to come in bigger sizes for those of us with bigger dogs) Yes, some of the cons stated are true. Our dog now has some of the nastiest gas we've ever smelled. She is definitely pooping more often (actually, a good thing when we consider the size of the tumor I saw in her intestines). Finally, the costs or pretty stupid-expensive, with the ridiculously small 3.5oz bags. (Offer bigger bags!) Our dog is now back up to her previous weight, her muscle tone is back and her eyes glow with excitement for life. As long as we have the blessing of enjoying her company and goofiness, she will be getting Boost Me on her food.

We've tried every food combination ever... home-cooked, raw, frozen, fancy overpriced subscriptions, everythiiiing. It's been an extremely expensive trial and error situation to get this picky dog to eat. We finally found a "limited ingredient" kibble that he kind of liked but he'd eat then leave it for a couple days, eat a little, leave it. I tried this mixed into it and he LOVES it. He'll eat a whole bowl now. I refrained from leaving a review for a couple months because sometimes you'll think you found it and he changes his mind lol but he's stuck with this for at least 2 months now so I'll keep buying! :)

Sorry but this is going to be a long testimony of how this " Boost Me" has a changed our lives and our rescue dog Gidget. We adopted a Shih Tzu that was picked up off the streets with a cone of shame on her and she was almost totally bald from scratching. A Rescue got her from the local pound and found most of her hair lose was due to a allergy to grains and put her on a grain free diet, when we adopted her she had hair starting to grow back in. We felt with a good diet and love all was going to be well but she became a nightmare for us. She ate her poop and our other dogs poop, we started a poop control to try to scoop it before she could eat it but while scooping hers she would run eat the others. Then we both went on control in the rain, freezing weather, headlights strapped to our head and at this point we both are fighting amongst each other about returning her to the rescue, one day I would be the one and my husband would say no we aren't then it would be him and we would reverse it. We also noticed she licked dirt and eat grass. I could continue on but it was totally gross and we're exhausted at this point but knew she loved her new home and family and we felt guilty about our thoughts of getting rid of her, then I read a article about this product and ordered it from Amazon prime. Within two days she stopped eating poop and just walks away from it, the poor baby was missing the enzymes her diet had been missing and she had been trying to heal herself. Our hearts broke for her knowing that all she has been thru she was just trying to survive. We saw such fast results and I believe this will help her skin and coat and she will be able to get off the $64.00 a month meds for scratching. We feed our dogs a very high grade food but she probably was given cheap food and the time on the streets no food. This is a freezedried raw organ meat with bones that is high in protein and not processed. I so believe in this product that I will always add some to all my dogs diet to help them live longer. I read all the reviews and none of them dealt with the problem we had and know that their are others out there having this same problem please give this a try. It has saved our marriage and saved our dogs life and we now have a new Fur baby that we enjoy giving kisses!!!

I got this bc the ingredients were good and my dog is sensitive to many additives- she’s also a picky eater but loves meat and stinky stuff. She immediately ate her kibble w this on and hasn’t had any stomach problems! It’s powdery w some chunks in but super easy to mix. Color is light brown . It’s $12 for this small bag and hasn’t even lasted me a month and I give it every other day. I would love to buy more but wish they would sell bigger bags bc this first one was devoured.

I’ve purchased MULTIPLE freeze dried dry dog food toppers for my finicky pooch, from various manufacturers. I mean, I truly do not blame the little guy for wanting to change up boring redundant kibble. This is my first topper review simply because my dog went bat s*** crazy over this stuff. His nose was in bowl until it was licked clean. Product seems legit and I like the powder consistency which prevents my little guy from separating topper bits from kibble like a surgeon. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure.

Picky Cavalier will actually eat his food if this is sprinkled on top.
