I did not like the slitted bolt that is hard to install under water. I would rather deal with an alanwrench than a screw driver. I would not buy this brand again.

I Wrote a previous review in frustration! Very good product but received the wrong one! The Plate zinc received looks very well made. The seller in his kindness has offered to correct the shipping error!

Nuts are captive. Makes it easier to install under water.Update; This is the third order of two and I'm very happy with the protection of my under water running gear. They dissolve in a little over year to the point there's just enough left to un bolt.Magnesium is for fresh water uses. Zinc will last much longer in fresh but they form an oxide that stops the process and therefore the protection.

No issues with this product. Cheaper than West Marine. Will buy again.
