Excellent Floor Sweeper for a House with Kitties
Bissell sweeper works excellent. Three tests: Tile only, picks up everything. Rugs, picks up everything. Litter box rug, picks up everything. Collects hair n everything on all three surfaces. Keeping in mind that it can only pick up stuff while in motion. Faster motion spins the two brushes faster. Don't bump into stuff. Don't beat the heck out of it and it will last. Easy to flip the two collection doors on the bottom over the kitchen garbage for emptying. Very impressed and not noisy like the shop vacuum. It does pretty well up against corners against the cabinets and walls. Not perfect like a shop vac, but fine for daily clean up. Take care assembling the handle as the threads have paint on them. I tried one and it seemed kind of tight threaded. So I swapped the section out for another which threaded easy. A little back and forth will get everything threaded together just fine. Don't force them if one is tight. Back it off and thread it on little by little and it goes together. You have to push down on the plastic handle to create threads as you tighten it on the end of the threaded handle tube. Easy enough. Very impressed how the sweeper picks up kitty hair off all three surfaces I tested it on. Very little got caught up in the two roller brushes. Keep them cleaned out every so often and they will not get completely clogged up. It even picks up the kitty litter dust from that lightweight kitty litter which seems to track all over the house, but works excellent in the litter boxes so I will stick with that type litter and my Bissell floor sweeper to clean up after our fur babies. Use the floor sweeper daily when I have to be quiet while cleaning, and use the vacuum when I can make noise. Highly recommended product.

Simple and perfect
I got the Bissell Double Natural Sweeper in silver, and it’s honestly really convenient. It’s lightweight and easy to push around, and it picks up dirt and crumbs without any effort. The double brushes do a great job on both hard floors and low-pile rugs. I also like that it’s quiet compared to my old vacuum, so I can clean without bothering anyone. Overall, it’s simple but very effective – makes everyday cleaning a lot easier!

Pretty Good, Ck Poles Assembly, Wish 4 Hair Tool
Loved the size of the floor part of the sweeper being bigger than most others I compared it to, plus it has two large brushes underneath compared to most having one. I also chose this model of because of the longer handle size so I’m not bending over more like smaller models require. A schematic of the finished product completed is provided inside the box. It appears very simple and intuitive. The photo shows numbers indicating various pieces or parts and in the box there are only four poles and a grip to put the handle together, then attach to the sweeper. TIP ONE: The pole parts come without any corresponding numbers to match the assembly picture. Initially the four poles all look to be identical with each having a threaded bottom to simply twist one piece into another, creating the handle. However, take a moment to compare the threading of all four poles. Find the one pole with slightly more narrow threading. That one is meant to be on the very bottom to attach to the top of the floor sweeper. TIP TWO: When twisting the other pieces easily together, I found one that would not easily thread and literally stuck tight halfway. (It was not in the wrong place.) Sometimes learned a little extra bit of paint inside the threading can cause it to stick. Take the pole and untwist it, then quickly with a little force, twist it back and forth a few times as you go. This movement will loosen the bits paint up and allow the two pieces to connect completely. Ready to use!! Why only 4 stars? I happened to purchase a smaller brand on Amazon for my daughter’s college dorm/apartment. Both this Bissell and her model were used at opposite ends of a long 10’ runner in the college kitchen after a week of four students walking thru and cooking/spilling various spilled cereal, grass pieces, random pasta pieces. We each took an end and met in the middle with our own new hand sweepers. Both were picking up spilled food, cereal, and even small pieces of grass tracked in from outside. I was surprised to find it me took several more passes over dirty areas with the Bissell as it kept leaving or dropping a piece it had previously picked up. Compared to the smaller one that rarely needed more than one pass, most two over heavy areas, having only one big brush. However the Bissell collected more hair on all carpets and mats it was used on. Being a household with four animals at home I loved this. However removing the hair from the brushes was very difficult. I wish it had come with a tool used for removing hair caught on the brush like my daughter’s did. I went home and now am using an older plastic brush to pull the hair off, and also find a smaller handled fork that seems to be more study and working more quickly as it’s metal. Yes I still use my regular sweeper that doesn’t have a brush for bigger jobs but still prefer this for quick runner clean up and works great for front covered porch mats.

Great pickup and gets close to baseboards sander cabinets
This little sweeper is AMAZING!! So convenient to use between BIG sweeping. I use this when I need to just sweep up little messes. Works AMAZING on both wood floors or carpet. It also is very good getting dirt that’s close to wall or under kitchen cabinets. You will not be disappointed on this little amazing seeeper.

It's ok
This item does work well to do a sweep between vacuumings. Picks up a lot of hair and any crumbs that fall onto the floor. Bissell does have a good reputation and I don't have any complaints about how it works. My issue is how difficult it is to clean. Despite the instruction manual explaining how to clean the brushes, both my husband and I have found it almost impossible to remove the brush rolls to remove hair and other debris. And we have both tried multiple times with the manual in front of us. As a result, I'm finding that I really don't want to use it very much.

Great value, great job & great customer service!!
So I am a review junkie. I read reviews of 1-5 stars on every product before I order something. After reading the reviews for this I was prepared for some possible handle issues, hair getting caught in the roller, etc. I read other people's fails and knew to be easy with it or it'll unthread itself (handle wise) and that it can break if I use it with too much gusto. Knowing this, I threaded it super easily. I gently placed the poles together and twisted slow, paying attention to wether or not it was going on evenly or cross threading, etc. It was super easy, until I got to the top pole. It wouldn't go on. I checked and the inner threads of the top pole had a lip running through them vertically, making it impossible to attach. I attached a picture for reference. Then the handle wouldn't screw on like the instructions say to do, it just pushes on and comes right back off. I looked inside and the only 'threads' are vertical? So it wouldn't attach. I used the short handle and gave the contraption a whirl, might as well test the base out before I call customer service right? And it was a dream. Sure I had to go over each spot like 3 times each, but I do that anyways with a vacuum because I have a Great Pyrenees doggie that leaves miniature Pyrenees fluff balls all over the floor. It picked up all of his hair, the tiny bits of paper my cats shredded and some plastic that my kitten stole from my counter. Of course, the roller was covered in dog hair, all of my vacuum rollers get covered with dog hair. Comes with the territory. When they invent a vacuum roller that doesn't hold dog hair for ransom I'll be the first in line. It has 2 dust bin drawers, hold it open and dump it out. I had to use my fingers to pull the hair out but that's fine too, I have to do that with a bag free vacuum to get hair off the filter and whatnot. This thing is fantabulous, sure I had to get my hands dirty but i enjoy washing my hands so that's fine. I didn't have to fight with the hair on the carpet or flip over my current vacuum, a 2 million pound Kirby, to clean out that roller brush so I saved some time and energy and my floor could pass for clean, so heck yes!! I can't complain. I called the Bissell customer service line through the link on Amazon, and explained the issues with the handle and top pole, she talked and did some troubleshooting with me & is now sending me a new pole and handle for my sweeper. Even with the defects I give this 5 stars for it's effectiveness, ease of use, and customer service solving my problem. Don't buy this if you expect to breeze through with 1 roll and it to clean itself for you. This is great for anyone needing a quick fix for pet hair, tiny bits of rubbish and not having to haul out the heavy machinery.

Very efficient
Love this sweeper! Use it every day for quick pick up. And it does!! I have cats so a quick sweep of where they sleep and generally around the whole house takes about 20 minutes and it picks up all the surface hair so that I only have to do a deep sweep with my vacuum once a week, which is good for me because I have a bad back

Works great, online reviews were right on!
Well, I will leave this review short and sweet, the Bissell Natural Sweep Carpet and Floor Sweeper works phenomenally well, in fact, far better then I expected. It is able to get dust and dirt out of carpers I didn't know was hiding there. We also have 3 pets, 2 cats, and a dog, and even though you could not see the fur on the floor, this thing ate it up and I dumped out more stuff then I thought could have even been on the floor. Now, I have not owned one of these before, so I do have 2 complaints, and one of them may be inherent to this type of sweeper, and I just have nothing to compare it with, while the other one, is a terrible craftsmanship. However, that said, neither of these issues would stop me from recommending this, nor from buying another one down the road if I wear this one out. Problem 1: After using the sweeper, and you need to empty the trays, do not make the mistake I did and let the head go vertical. Due to the way the holding traps are designed, there is nothing keeping the dirt from falling out of the traps when in any position but horizontal. This is because the traps are really nothing more then spring loaded doors that keep them closed, but there is no seal or anything around them, so once there is dirt in them, there is nothing trapping it in the holding pan, and if you tilt the head before you reach the trash can, all the dirt and dust can come right out. Perhaps I will just chuck this up to a learning experience. Though I do think they could put a seal around the sides, and place a small lip at the front where the dirt goes up into the tray, that would at least keep some of the dirt from coming out. Problem 2: The handle is very thin steel tube, that comes in I believe 4 or 5 sections that you have to screw the sections together, one side is threaded on the outer side, and the other end is threaded on the inner side. You then screw one section into the next. The problem I ran into was that one of the sections, on the side that had the threads on the inner side was just a tiny bit too wide, so when you screwed the two sections together, they would not make a tight fit with one another. In fact, if you tightened them all the way up, you could keep trying to tighten them and they would never stop, all you would have to do it give the two sections a little wiggle and they would come right apart from each other. Now one might say, well you should have returned it. Yeah, I could have done that, but then I would have to wait for another one to get delivered, box this one back up and take it to the shipper to send it back. Instead, I had some JB Weld Instant Epoxy, and I just put some epoxy on the threaded end, and some on the inner threads, and threaded the two pieces back together. Waited about 10 minutes, and you could not get these two sections of the handle apart if you wanted to. Problem solved. So while I do think that this was a manufacturing flaw, I don't consider it anything worth returning it for, but these 2 problems are the reasons for me not giving this a 5 star rating. It definitely deserves a 5 start rating for how well it cleans though. Conclusion: Aside from the 2 minor problems I mentioned, the Bissell Natural Sweep Carpet and Floor Sweeper works really really well and far beyond my exportations. The reviews I read on multiple sites seemed to definitely be correct, they all said that this sweeper earned a 9.5 out of 10, with the next closest coming in at an 8. So that is what drove me to purchase it in the first place. I am sure that my problem number 1 is inherent in all of these type sweepers since they all pretty much look identical. Even with problem number 2, I don't think that this is an inherent problem, and that I just happen to get a bad section of tube, which really is not a big deal My epoxy fix cost me no time or money to do, and the handle is now stronger then it was. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a sweeper like this, and the bonus is, for everyone of the vacuums / sweeps that are purchased from Bissell they make a donation to an animal shelter. Who can say no to that? Hope this review helps someone!
