The SmallRig V-mount Battery Plate works great for my rig. Built well and sturdy, this battery plate fits perfectly onto my camera's 15mm rod system. Batteries fit tight and secure. Super simple, yet fully adjustable, I'd venture so far as to say that the design is elegant...and practical!

build quality is great, decent price for what it's intended for but might end up getting the other one, not sure yet. Just consider first how you want your set up would look like at the functions. Opening and closing the camera screen and so on.

I use it for my Smallrig 99 and I love it . Is an investment but is worth it .

This is a great product, its solid and works as intended. The only downside is the knob in its back which is hard to reach when its mounted to the rods and many times it still loose. Think if the not moving version is better for your rig

This does the job well. It holds my v mount battery in any position I lock it in. There is one thing about this model that just bothers me. The small flat screws that mount the rod clamps to the plate are not strong enough and one of them stripped on me while trying to remove it to change the position. It is permanently stripped and I can't get a grip on it yo get it out at all. Plus it's too soft to get it out using stronger tools. I've had to accept the final position of the mount and it's locked in there for good it seems. I'm having to adjust my camera rig accordingly because of this, which is a bit inconvenient. I love Smallrig and their products.

Bought this for my BMPCC6Kpro and use a lion fx v mount battery. It slides in fine but the slightest bump will knock it out. Not sure if this happens with other batteries?
