Better than I expected
I was leery of buying this, given some of the previous reviews. I have had it for a number of months, and it has performed well. The zipper is still intact, and I'm not overly-careful about what I put in it. I carry 12 cards, plus various other, thinner cards [gift cards, license, etc.], and bills. I've not had any issues with it, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.UPDATE: After nearly two years of everyday use, I have to say that this wallet has held up well. The zipper still works, and the wallet still looks good overall, if a bit worn. I still think this is a very good purchase.

Still going strong after three years!
Still holding up after three years but time to get another one. Great deal if you are not concerned about the RFID. The one with RFID protection is almost double the cost of this wallet. My go to brand used to be Kenneth Cole in this style but he no longer makes it. This is MUCH cheaper and seems to be of much better quality. My old KC used to get a zipper snag after a year - this wallet has never snagged once. Plenty of room inside and I like the double bill section so I can place high denomination bills in one section and ones and fives in the other. Highly recommended. I overloaded this wallet and it still zipped closed -that's why you see the indentations in the photos.

DEFECTIVE STITCHING - ripped out in less than 2 months
Really liked this wallet. Bought it for husband because things were falling out of his other style wallets. He liked it too. UNTIL stitching ripped out in less than 6 weeks. It was the bottom edge of the left credit card holder section. Stitching ripped out almost an inch, and is the stitching that also attaches the front cover. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Especially since we liked it so much I bought 2 more for use in future (he usually replaces his wallet every 4-5 years, so bought couple extra just in case the style was no longer available later). Certainly did not expect it to rip out in less than 2 months time! Note: he only had 2 credit cards on that side, so it did NOT give way due to over-stuffing with contents or over-use.

Back for a second one of these wallets.
Back for a second walletTonight I came into Amazon looking for another wallet for my husband.I lighted on to this page & I was glad.I could not remember where I bought his last wallet.Apparently it was Amazon. (Thank you AMAZON for having the little " you bought this with a date on it". I apparently bought this wallet last on 20 December 2013.)While the wallet is not falling apart, I am replacing it.Tonight I thought I would be helpful & load the washer.Asked Darling Husband "Are your pockets empty?"He says "Yes". I scoop it all up & he starts the washer after his bath.A couple hours later, he goes to load the dryer. He comes back with this sad looking lump. It's his wallet.(WHOOPS! His medical card is in their for work!) but it seems to have survived. The contents of his wallet are scattered all over drying as we speak / I write this.Of course I feel guilty, as I should have double checked. So I stumble across this one & it looks just like his.Now his wallet looks sad & I imagine after it's nice hot water bath it will shrink up somewhat as it dries. The reason I am replacing it is because I know that washing leather items never ends well. The wallet has not had any damage such as broken zipper, plastic windows inside breaking, cards tearing through slots, etc.He never had any problems getting his cards, debit or credit to fit into the slots. So he got around thirteen months of usage out of it, about a dollar a month.Would not be dead now were it not for my mistake of not looking.Looks great & held up well. (Until I came along)Definitely would & did buy again.Enclosed a few shots of the wallet. The quality is so so, but you can see that the wallet held up & is not damaged!

Beat-up & a bit ragged after 3 years of use, but I still like it
I have had this wallet for a little over 3 years, and like it. But after about a year of daily use, the fabric that holds the zipper track in place started to rip at the 2 outer corners of the wallet. (Maybe because I stuff too much stuff in the wallet sometimes?) The zipper still worked, but there were small gaps in the corners even when the zipper was closed. It wasn't a big deal, but it made it harder to slide the zipper. Anyway I kept using it for another couple years without issue. After all my abuse, the leather is now scratched and beat-up looking, but it has held together well. The red color has worn off the little Swiss Army emblem button on the outside, so it's all silver now.Last week, after 3 years, the zipper came off the track. If I can't get it back on, I will probably buy this same wallet again.BTW I am glad they still make this without the RFID blocking which is all the rage lately. I have two RFID swipe cards in my wallet, and I actually WANT them to work in the wallet. I put foil inside the wallet to prevent the two cards from interfering with one another.
