Absolutely adorable!!!!
My daughter is really into baby dolls right now and has been asking to take her Bitty Baby's in the water, well that's a hard No so instead I opted to get her this baby made specifically for the water, I absolutely love the way Adora babies smell, I wish the bitty babies had a baby like smell, her little painted nails are so darling and an absolute surprising detail, see pics, my DD immediately put her in a baby bath, her towel robe is absolutely amazing quality and ao super soft! The price we paid for this baby, we could not be happier, she also has a ribbon on the back of her to hang up to dry when done with water play, and quick dry beads in the body that my daughter loves squishing! We highly recommend this baby for water play, sooo much more adorable then store brands, we will definitely be buying others!

Buy the Doll
Great doll and well worth the money. My toddler recently decided she hates baths and showers and generally being cleaned up in any way. She'd stand in the bath screaming while I rushed to wash her and get her out of the tub before the neighbors called the police thinking I was murdering the child. Orange is not my color so I tried everything to keep her clean and avoid the banshee like shrieks. I bought cups, watering cans, let her bring random waterproof toys if she wanted, even told her I'd buy her an alpaca and nothing worked. Apparently toddlers aren't as interested in alpaca ownership as I expected. Then one day she tried to bring a dolly into the bath. That got me thinking. Maybe if she could bring a dolly to play with she'd be focused long enough on the doll for me to bathe her without earplugs or fear of living my own version of "Orange is the New Black". Unfortunately none of her dolls would survive long if they went in the water. Curses! So I went to Facebook for suggestions and a cousin and fellow mom suggested this doll. I now owe her a wine of the month club subscription because ohmygod the kid sat in the bath and played and there was no screaming! In fact, I had to make her get out of the bath. My kid? Wanted to stay in water. Of course I had to let her take the doll with her out of the bath, but guess what, you can dry the doll off. What?! I know! Squeeze the soft parts a bit to wring it out and it will be a little damp still but at least it's not leaving puddles throughout your house and causing everyone to fall all over the place. Also, damp equals no screaming because beloved new doll was taken away. Seriously, sometimes it's all about survival when you're raising a toddler. The doll will arrive smelling like it was baptized in some expired Love's Babysoft, but the smell will go away. I didn't notice it this morning at all, though I have a pretty bad head cold and am also seriously willing to overlook this one flaw of this magical doll.

Cute doll
I originally ordered this baby for my daughter to play with in the bath tub. However, I later found a smaller, cheaper doll made out of a rubber-like material that we use in the bath instead. Since I haven’t used this doll in the water, I can’t speak to how it dries. I will say that it seems like it might take awhile which would be a pain if your child wants to take it straight to bed after their bath like mine does. The doll feels like it’s filled with part stuffing and part beanbag filling. My daughter likes that the eyes open and close and I like that the body looks like a swimsuit since my daughter prefers all of her dolls with the clothes off (now we have one less naked doll around the house). I took away one star because of the strong smell. Even after airing out for almost a week now, it still has a pretty strong perfume smell that reminds me of my grandfathers cologne. I could do without that smell! Otherwise, I am happy with the doll and my daughter is too.

Best baby doll
My little girl received her first adora baby doll as a gift for Christmas last year when she was 13 months old. She loves these dolls and only these dolls so much that she wakes up and goes to bed asking for them. I’ve bought her other types and she doesn’t pay attention to them like these. She hasn’t taken it in the bath yet but she does take it with her when we go out. I’ve already passed it though the washer and let it air dry and it was ready to go the next day. The doll has many details, from her head to her toes. My baby especially likes that the eyes open/close. The dolls are very soft, lightweight and very well made/put together. The scent isn’t overpowering but to me personally, it doesn’t smell like baby powder. These make a fantastic gift for any baby girl.
