Love it for my rv
Standard Good quality

This was an easy install on my 2006 bigfoot camper. Depending on your skill level, the only thing to think about was trimming the top of the ladder to compensate for the curve of the roof. Good and solid. Good buy

Was the perfect size for a small Class B (TransVan) it mounted very securely to the back of the unit. I give it 4/5 for sturdiness, because it came in pieces. It's not as rigid as a solid ladder, but it supports my 220 lbs, and looks great on my camper. Also, the top loops came off, which allowed me to adapt it to a rounded roof. I give it a 4/5 on easy to install because it was a little difficult to install. I had to find studs, mark them, level it, and then the roof was curved. I would say that I'm expert (30 year) auto and RV mechanic. It took me about 2.5 hours to install. Also, I provided my own stainless screws for mounting. Some were included, but I preferred the ones I bought.

It comes in two pieces that fit together very well. It was only the lower four feet of my old ladder that was damaged so, I cut the old ladder at the point where the lower part of the new unit was made to slip inside the top half (of the new unit) and fitted that section into the good part of the old ladder. Worked beautifully and was a lot less work then replacing the entire unit! Otherwise, the rooftop section would be in a totally different place, requiring roof repair also. I used all the old "stand-offs" and added a couple of new screws to each stand-off. Much more sturdy now. Rodger Morales 6/23/14

Worked great but you will need to likely do some re-fabricating. My roof on my office trailer had a slight slant and I had to cut one of the top hooks down about 1/2" and re-drill the hole. I also cut gaskets and used silicone behind each support which you can also double up on if you need a slight shim to even everything out. I also swapped the aggressive wood screws for self tappers so simplify things.
