It works.

Well made spanner wrench for many model top-load washing machines. My washer in a Kenmore series 110. PROBLEM: A zipper-tab on a small net garment bag got stuck under the agitator, and the zipper-tab broke off when I tried to pull the garment bag out. The zipper tab dropped below the inner tub. So I had to remove that zipper-tab that was about 3/16” wide by 3/4” long so the water pump would not be damaged. I tried a variety of different tools without success to remove the spanner nut part number 21366 without success. Went on YT for suggestions, which included drilling out the spanner nut. Not needed!!! I saw a spanner wrench on a video and went on AMZN and found one of the lowest cost, but laser cut (sharp corner - great!), thick steel, and had 4 (not 2) keys. I took the well-packaged wrench out of the carton and plastic bag, walked over to the washer, and loosely placed the spanner wrench over the spanner nut. In less than a minute with two hits with a hammer on the wrench handle, no need to hold the tub, so EASY! Then my wife held the tub so I could spin the wrench with 2 hands, off with the nut. Then just jiggle the tub which at first thought would be a problem, but then also easy to lift out the inner tub and pick-up the zipper-tab. 😊👍 from the bottom of the outer-tub. I think with tax, $12 & change. SUPER!!! Oh, Amazon Prime with fast prime1-day delivery. Cardboard shipping box was in perfect condition (as usual). Performance of the tool exceeded my expectations!

Fit well. Made the washer repair easy.

The loose fit makes it hard to use because it will sit just below the tub nut. So, I used a shoe lace to create a double x pattern across the center of the wrench. This held the wrench on the hub nut and allowed me to tap it with a hammer while my other hand was holding the basin still. I would try another brand if I had to do this more often.

Worked great for my whirlpool washer. Fit perfectly I have a newer 2024 model and needed to take the drum out due to oil stains. Ended up power washing the drum. The metal of the wrench is heavy and durable especially with the price point it’s selling for. Would recommend to anyone needing one!!

This tool was exactly what we needed. It's heavy, and can be hammered. We used this to deep clean the barrel of our Whirlpool washing machine/dryer combo.

Was looking to deep clean the interior parts of our washing machine, sometimes after using it, clothes came out with black leaf-like particles, turns out it was the inside drum that was pretty dirty, after years of using cloth softeners. Tried once to take it a part and it turns out you need a special tool to take out the big nut holding the drum in place, so ordered this one. This thing gets the job done, however before using this tool, use a permanent marker to draw a line between the nut and the center hub, so you know where to tighten it when you secure it back in place. I had to spray UB-40 and used a hammer to hit this tool counterclockwise to loosen the nut, but it worked, and as you can see from the video and pictures, I was able to deep clean the drum, it was a fun cleaning project, so do yourself a favor, get this tool and never use cloth softeners again.

The worked for my Kenmore 600 Series top load dishwasher model 110.27642600 – it is a loose fit and you have to hold it in place but does get the job done. My one complaint is that mine arrived super nasty with brown goo on it like it was sitting in a dank Amazon warehouse for 10 years. Either way I am thankful that someone provides this tool and will be keeping it to fix and clean my washer tub which if you have never done before you really should SEE what's in there :).

It was exactly what was needed.

this tool is lightweight and does the job with ease. other tools may fit better but this worked on a tub nut that had been on for 15yrs. the tub was fused to the shaft however and you may also need a jaw puller to help get the stuck tub out.

Did a deep clean of my washer and couldn’t for the life of me get the last nut to the agitator off!! Spanner wrench to the rescue! Minimal effort!

It did the job but the fact that there is no "stop" and it kept slipping/falling down as I used it is why only 4 stars.
