Not only can they use it, it goes home to help their parents as well! I was surprised and pleased to find this resource.

Its summarized, its quick, and has some basic info about language grammar. So, its ok for a quick learning-tourist type, should be useful specially if you're on your own, no guides, and your trekking, come across a village and wanna say Hi, how r u, have some water for me? You know, be polite, ask for supplies,...basics.

This is both a dictionary and a phrasebook, but I purchased it more with dictionary in mind and was a little disappointed with the number of words that were in it.My purpose of purchasing was for a Napalese speaker to use it for learning English, or to assist with word knowledge, and I don't think it has been overly beneficial. Probably great if you were English and wanted to learn phrases and words in Nepalese!
