This Essie nail polish is the smoothest I have ever had. It is extremely easy to apply and is strong. The polish doesn’t crack easily when touched by hot water or other heat. The color is a rich deep red that looks very attractive and bright despite it being a darker shade. My favourite color is wine red and now my nails match perfectly with my wine red coat and satchel.

Deep cherry red and so juicy. This is 1 base coat, 2 coats of Spiked with Style, and 1 top coat (Essie twisty white bottle). The first coat went on pretty uneven and got me nervous, but it looks good at the end.

Seller review-5 stars. Product arrived on time even around the end of year holidays. Price is cheaper than at the drug store, so no complaints there! Product- it’s a decent gel polish. This color could have used three coats to get that truly even distribution when it’s dry. Note- the color “swatch” looks more brown than the true color. The color when applied is more a brick red or red wine color than the swatch would suggest. It’s a nice color, but not what I was expecting.
