Odor Eliminator. Worked great on my goalie equipment to get rid of the stink. Highly recommended

i went camping & realized my 10 year old 6P Coleman Sundome had a stench in it when we opened it that had to go (it was a little embarrassing). now mind you, we had never cleaned out tent so this was overdue. I was close to docking a star for poor instructions so definitely do you research and reach out to GEARAID and the companies of products you plan to wash. don't do it after the fact and just get lucky like we did. leaving it 5 stars because the product really works well. we ended up filling up a bathtub & putting a capful (it's the *whole* cap, not just the circular screw part) - we threw the whole tent in & let it soak for 30 min. I made the mistake of using cotton socks on an 18 day adventure so I looked at the tub & just threw my Timberland boots in. Coleman apparently doesn't recommend soaking any of their tents as it damages the PU waterproof coating. GEARAID said if the coating is not gummy or sticky we should be fine. We've never had to use our tent in rain for the 10 years we've had it so this prolly went in our favor. at the end of the day, we pitched the wet tent in the garage and just let it dry. we were happy there were no toxic smelling fumes or fragrances - it was mild. it dried overnight & left the tent up another 2 days to be sure. The tent was very "fresh" smelling (defined as the absence of funk not fragrance!), I made a large repair to the pole sheaths while it was clean w tenacious tape and we packed it. I'll know for sure end of October when we pitch this bad boy back up what the difference is. for now, it feels like a cleansing of the past & glad cleaning the tent can be easy. now as for next time the tent needs a "deep clean", I think I'll just soak it 5 min (instead of 30) it worked great on my hiking boots - I let it air dry & no more funk coming from my boots anymore! now Timberland doesn't recommend soaking leather boots so I'll figure out what to do next time when the time comes. it's so nice to be in clean boots & they are already 6 years old & running strong! so if there is any morale of this story: soak at your own risk but it seems to work :)

Great stuff! easy to dump in the tub while filling to just cover the suits... and then I get on with my unpacking of other adventure gear... come back in a few to pop the suits on the hanger + drip over the tub for a few minutes or hang on the balcony. Keeps them smelling like new! FYI I dunk the booties after the suits are out and sometimes leave overnight due to laziness. They are crummy with sand and I'm a little paranoid to pass on anything smelly to my suit but since using this stuff regularly it's really helped booties to smell fresh. The suits were new when I started dunking with this washing stuff but the booties were really smelly!! That was the reason for this purchase. It took a few weeks of dipping regularly to rid them of the dead creature smell that lived in there, partly due to repeated use in hot humid weather and poor apartment drying conditions. So far this year after 10+ uses and 97% humidity weekends they smell great. Keeping them clean and fresh is easier then returning them to freshness!

It worked wonders on my textile motorcycle trousers and boots after they were left wet in a top box at an airport parking lot for a week - I didn't think I would ever get the smell out, but one soak in this did the trick.

Nutze das Mittel gegen den Geruch nach meinen Tauchurlauben. Wirkt gut und schnell und ist auch einfach in der Anwendung.
