I bought this primarily to cushion our enameled cast iron sink from the random blows when washing pots and pans, and it does that well. I did not expect it to be so easily, and irreparably, stained. We cook a lot of Italian and Indian dishes, so tomato sauces, paprika, and turmeric are heavily used. Plus one family member likes orange sodas. All of these will quickly stain the plastic and bleaching doesn't completely remove the stains. My sister-in-law gives it only 2 stars, but she keeps here kitchen magazine photo shoot perfect. Eh. It works, it just ain't pretty.

Slightly smaller sink our sink (maybe an inch each way) but that is not an issue. It’s purpose is to act as a cushion; it does that nicely.

We ordered both a small size and a large size mat. They came separately but the item numbers are correct as listed in the ad. Unfortunately the mat designs are noticeably different. The small mat has round drain holes where as the large had square ones. The small mat also has "feet" to hold it up and allow water to drain better. The large one has tiny dots that do not provide the same functionality. with these sitting right next to each other in the sinks the difference is unpleasant to the eye. We will be returning these.

We are really happy with this mat, perfect size for our sinks...recommended.
