TETON SportsHydration Bladder; BPA Free Water Reservoir; Easy to Refill and Clean

I was 10K into a 24k two day hike with this bag began leaking at the joint of the bag and the hose. My sleeping bag was soaked that night and if it weren’t for my brother’s filter and my Nalgene I would have run out of water for my trip.I simply can’t help but give a poor review of a product when it can’t fulfill its purpose. Hiking products MUST be reliable, it is often all you have.

The drinking straw and tube is super hard to get water from the hydration bladder, other than that it’s a good sized one but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to spend all your time trying to suck water in, it doesn’t flow well at all, I don’t know why but I don’t hate it but I don’t use it either. It’ll go in “stuff I can’t use because not easy to use”. I had to try and try and try to get water flowing and an hydration bladder isn’t suppose to give us a way to exercise our cheeks muscles. I’m not joking 🙃 but it’s well made, good quality, the problem is the drinking hose and it’s system.But this corrected would make it amazing because it’s easy to fill up and carry.

I washed and rinsed this bladder several times before filling for use on a motorcycle ride. I understand that the flavour of the water might be a little tainted, but it was downright awful. It was like drinking liquid plastic. Just a horrible bladder.

You get what you pay for. This is a low-cost, no frills piece of equipment that does its job.This one is a replacement for another I used for 2 years prior to the purchase. With the recommended upkeep, these bladders will last forever.
