What is the Difference between breaking brass and clear? I have dark hair with light highlights

I liked breaking brass when my hair was mostly blonde to restore the color, take out any orangey color and provide shine. I’m using Shine now that my hair is medium brown with a few subtle highlights and brassiness is not much of an issue. I really like this product!
