This was SO cute and had lots of space. MY only qualm was it only lasted maybe 6 months of use (4-5 days a week) before the latches broke. About a year in the seams began to fray, and just after that it started peeling. If you're going to rotate it out with other bags, it might last a good while; but for daily use it will have to be replaced every year or two.

I purchased this bag in the vintage purple color August 2023 as a daily work bag (teacher) and it is now May 2024. The bag has held up mostly well. The exterior looks almost new despite this being used literally every day for months. I do not treat it gently in that it gets put on the floor, etc. The main interior of the bag has also held up nicely even with books, laptop, charger, pens, and that sort of thing. My only complaint is that the interior of the outside back pocket is made of very thin synthetic fabric and has fully ripped open. The only thing kept in that pocket has been chapstick and the occasional thin wallet. Otherwise, nothing sharp. Since it ripped, if I place items in the pocket they fall in and are a little hard to reach. It is an easy fix, but annoying given less than a year use. This is the reason for taking one star off of the review. Otherwise, the bag is great and fairly durable and the color is beautiful. I foresee using this bag for a long while and do recommend it.

In general this bag is attractive and handy. I would prefer more storage with easy access from the outside of the bag without having to raise the flap, but this is not a deal breaker. There is a handy zipper pocket on the back which fits a cell phone very nicely. While traveling with the 15 inch bag, I discovered my phone was gone. I spent quite a bit of time repeatedly looking around, including through all the pockets in this bag, in the hotel room, in the rental car….. My son called my phone but we heard nothing (turns out I had turned the sound off in the car to eliminate that irritating navigation voice) After much consternation, I reached into the outer pocket just one more time. Turns out there was no stitching on the lateral sides of the pocket, so my phone had slipped out of the pocket and lodged itself between the lining and the exterior material. I pushed my hand through the lateral opening and retrieved the phone. Perhaps there might have been some stitching there, but I could only find a few torn threads at the top and bottom and no thread holes elsewhere. I decided not to return it because I could repair this myself, but I did notify Amazon of the issue. I am hoping Amazon customer service will be able to pass on this quality control issue to the seller.

I have had this for a few days, and so far I love it! I just recently got a new job, and it requires me to take my laptop and other paperwork with me as I travel from appointment to appointment around the city. Since each client needs something different (I'm and Life Insurance sales agent). This has been great, there is enough room for my laptop, paperwork, wallet, keys, and other miscellaneous things that I need throughout the day. The strap is actually comfortable, even with no shoulder pad thing that you find on some other bags. The latches work great, they are snap metallic buttons, and then a latch/clasp in the front that is easy to use, and does not stick. I have had other bags that have been stuck after a few uses, and are rendered basically useless. And the color is great! I usually don't like purple in any shade, but this is more of a neutral color, and is not loud and proud. It goes with everything that I have, and looks smart. I look like a business woman, and it is not gaudy in my book. Very simple, and looks great! I would highly recommend this bag! **I will edit this post if I come on any issues during the next few weeks as I have only had it a couple days**
