I was asked this question a few months back and I am 99 percent sure the meter is capable of communications to the ir3000fc adapter. Hope my info helped. Thanks **Q: does it come with the alligator clips?** A: no, but when i bought mine i found an extech set that came with probes, alligator clips, and the microclips for around 20, now i buy a set with each meter i buy **Q: does it come calibrated** A: This meter is calibrated at Fluke prior to shipment. However they do not register thos for ISO9001 purposes. If you need this done it could be done for an additional 150 dollars where it is certified and registered for iso9001.
