I notice that folks frequently buy a 20.9 inch tube from the Pianica to go with this.** A: 20 inches. I measured from the tip of the mouthpiece to the end of the connector. The end pieces are black, the tube is white. The 20.9 inch Pianica tube doesn't seem like much difference. **Q: Has anyone checked the tuning with a tuner? Mine is mostly 5-15 points sharp and I'm considering returning and trying again. Multiple responses please** A: I realized that mine was way sharp when I was playing along with recordings and my cello student. The entire reason I bought this was so that I could play with other musicians and also bring it to the jazz jam. It has plenty of volume playing with other acoustic instruments. All keys were in tune. It has the look and feel of quality instrument. The included case is very nice and useful. The included long flexible mouthpiece is probably more comfortable than a short mouthpiece.
