Review: Great value - Great product very addictive good size Review: Dissolves Slowly Into A Peppermint Explosion... You Can't Beat 'Em! - Brach's Soft Peppermint 'dissolvable' candies are the perfect sweet treat and texture for what we all purchase them for. I make decorated organza gift bags for our area Assisted Living Facilities. With the softness of these candies, I never have to worry about a choking hazard from the hardness of other forms of candy, as these are perfect. Regular Brach's Starlight Mints are wrapped nicely for use in a gift bag, but they are too hard, and these are the delightful alternative. When I order these, I always order the larger tub of 350 pieces; I don't know why this size keeps popping up for review. The larger size is a better value and obviously stretches much further. The Facilities around me have about 40 to 50 residents each, so dividing them by count for each bag is simple, adds a lot of bulk, making your gift bag fuller and, hopefully, more fun while adding other small gift items. Everyone Loves these peppermints, so I bag them up for the staff, too. Why not? When it's time for a celebration, everyone is included! Whether it's a holiday, a birthday, or just May Day, there is Always a reason to gift the best, and these soft, dissolvable candies are just that! ## Features - THE MELT AWAY MINTS: These refreshing mints in red and white twists are perfect for sharing; Made with real peppermint oil, these smooth mints will reinvigorate your taste buds with their delicious taste - CLASSIC MINT CANDY: Brach's Bob's Sweet Stripes are a smoother, softer way to enjoy a mint; Refresh your day with the deliciously sweet peppermint flavor in every piece, with only 60 calories per serving - INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED: Sweet Stripes are individually packaged, making them a perfect treat to share with friends, family and coworkers; They're great for parties, your candy dish and anytime snacking - MINT CANDY FAVORITE FOR EVERYONE: As a candy favorite for generations, Bob's produces a delicious assortment of candy canes, peppermint sticks and soft mints in wintergreen and peppermint flavors - EXCEPTIONAL CANDY HERITAGE: Bob's has been producing exceptional candy since the 1920s when a man named Bob McCormack set out to make candy canes for his family and friends; The results were delicious ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002YM7CJE | | Age Range Description | All Ages | | Allergen Information | Fat-Free | | Animal Theme | Cow | | Best Sellers Rank | #863 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #8 in Candy Mints | | Brand | Brach's | | Brand Name | Brach's | | Candy Consistency | Hard | | Color | White,Red | | Container Type | Jar | | Cuisine | North American | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 27,834 Reviews | | Diet Type | Vegetarian | | Flavor | Peppermint | | Item Form | Candy | | Item Highlight | Melt-away soft peppermint mints, red & white, real peppermint oil, individually wrapped, party, candy dish | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Package Weight | 0.91 kg | | Item Shape | Round | | Item Weight | 1.8 pounds | | Manufacturer | Ferrara Candy Company | | Model Number | 10070538016429 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Occasion | Back To School, Birthday, Halloween, Party, Valentine's Day | | Package Size Name | 28 ounces | | Part Number | 01642 | | Set Name | Brach's Bobs Sweet Stripes | | Size | 160 Count (28 oz) | | Specialty | Sugar Free | | Style | 160 Count Jar | | Sugar Candy Type | soft mint candy | | UPC | 808224140720 070538016422 808226712420 885662231418 041420079412 | | Unit Count | 160 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Brach's - **Flavor:** Peppermint - **Item Form:** Candy - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Unit Count:** 160 Count ## Images ![Brach's Sweet Stripes Soft Peppermint Candy, Individually Wrapped, 160 Ct - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81UdC0aEn8L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Quantity of mint balls candy?** A: The package list 350 balls. I haven't counted but the individual candies are really packed in there tight. This is what I order over and over again especially when it's an "add on item" **Q: How to i get to most recent reviews?** A: Here's one... if you are looking for the mints that melt in your mouth, look for a different brand, these were hard as rocks. Otherwise, you can sort the reviews by the most recent. **Q: will these melt quickly in hot chocolate? thinking of adding to a cocoa buffet.** A: They kept very nicely. I get a tub every winter. You can give them a quick stir or let them melt at the bottom for a month finish. Lovey in front of the fire. I am intrigued, what else do you serve with your cocoa? **Q: About how many are in this bag? I need about 200 pieces for gift bags** A: I gave them as a gift and filled a giant candy jar. I really can't remember how many pieces there were but I would say probably about 200. I hope this is helpful. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value *by L***E on October 3, 2026* Great product very addictive good size ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dissolves Slowly Into A Peppermint Explosion... Candies are consistent and top quality. (Switching from my long time favorite Red Bird which has gone down hill! Made in NC the former owner would be disappointed in the product today.) Brach’s makes a very good quality, soft mint!! ## Frequently Bought Together - Brach's Bobs Sweet Stripes Soft Peppermint Candy, 160 Individually-Wrapped Pieces, 28 Ounce Jar - LIFE SAVERS Mints, Bulk Hard Candy Wint-O-Green Breath Mints, 44.93 oz Party Size - Pure Life Purified Water Bottles, 24 Pack - Still Bottled Water Enhanced with Minerals for a Crisp Taste, Plastic Bottles - 8 Fl Oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nz/products/27774207-brachs-sweet-stripes-soft-peppermint-candy-individually-wrapped-160-ct](https://www.desertcart.nz/products/27774207-brachs-sweet-stripes-soft-peppermint-candy-individually-wrapped-160-ct) --- *Product available on Desertcart New Zealand* *Store origin: NZ* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
