After reading review I was a little bit concerned however I found this stand to be sturdy and easy to construct even though the instructions were in Chinese. It looks good and is a great improvement to my computer desk. It is really good value and would definitely recommend it.

First of all, it is dark brown rather than black, and only on one side of the panels. The other side of each of the panels are a horrible orange colour which ruins the look. You can also see the screw heads on the outsides of the panels. It was simple enough to put together and has pre-drilled holes, which was lucky as I think the wood would have split whilst screwing the screws in otherwise.The little shelving unit is pretty similar although not all of the panels have the awful orange sides. It is very small though. My fault for not checking the measurements but you cannot fit a sheet of A4 paper into the shelves (as per photo) so not particularly great for filing.
