Tight, but they're supposed to be
These are great and now my favorite bibs. Material is high quality, and the pad is very comfortable on the road, gravel or even light singletrack (on my Cutthroat). As for the fit, I'm 5'10", 165lbs, 30" inseam and 38.5" hips (long torso). I have some Castelli Espresso bibs that I purchased in Medium per the size chart a few months ago. The Espresso's feel very tight and I almost returned them, but contacted Castelli who confirmed that they were designed that way, to feel like a second skin. While riding, they do feel great and are very comfortable. The only minor issue is that, with my longer torso, I feel like the shoulder straps are almost stretched to the limit (I don't notice when riding, though). So, when I got these Endurance 3's, I sized up to a Large. They still fit tight, but comfortably so and not restrictive at all. It's not quite the 'second skin' feel as the Espresso's, but the fabric also feels more rugged. I'll definitely pick up another set if/when they go on sale again.

Runs Small but Comfortable.
I currently have about 200 miles on mine and am starting to see some wear. They are stretching in some spots so they don't fit as well as when they were new. However they are still comfortable and at their current rate they should last another 100 miles or so. This seems short for the price but these are better than the $30 pair I normally get. Update: The elastic is still good but the chamois is completely flat after one summer.

Great bib, go big
Super quality, but I deducted one star because the sizing is ridiculously small. It took three irritating tries to find the right size, which ended up being a 3XL, and I’m 6’1” 200.

Best bib so far!!
before anything, I am a Large. I bought X-Large and it was still too tight. I then ordered XXL and its the perfect fit. I had purchased the low priced bibs and shorts for cycling before. Believe me, what you pay is what you get. Castelli bib is amazingly comfortable for long rides and the fabric is magnificent. Wicks sweat and the shorts never move up, just stays. Highly recommend it.

Way too small, especially if you're on the taller side
I'm 6'2" and measured in between a M and L by the size chart, so decided to go with a L. It was too small. The shoulder straps dug painfully into my shoulders and the legs were so tight circulation was cut off and my legs started going numb almost instantly. I've owned many pairs of bib shorts by different manufacturers, so I know how they should fit. They should be tight, but not painful like these. All other bib short brands I own are a size L or smaller. I'm not sure what person Castelli is designing their shorts for, but they didn't measure them for the size chart. I am not super athletically built and would say my thighs are on the thinner side, but these were just uncomfortably tight. I was in pain almost instantly in my groin and shoulders. I would try a larger size, but I have a feeling I would still not order large enough. I'm going to try and find them locally instead so I can try before buying, or just get another brand altogether. The overall quality seemed nice though, especially the chamois. It was dense in the right places without being bulky. The shoulder straps are the older mesh style that twist up when donning and dug in painfully being too short. Stitching was even and strong and style was nice. I just wish the size chart was more accurate and included height. If you're on the shorter side, the chart will probably be accurate for you, but you still may want to order at least a size up from where you measure.

They run very small and they don’t last.
Way too small. I usually wear XL and I had to get an XXL and they were snug. The material is light and comfortable but the seam that holds the chamois to the shorts started to come undone after only a few rides. I’m returning and finding another brand.

Two sizes up
I followed the other feedback and went up two sizes—yes, two! I normally wear XL bibs but opted for the 3XL, and it fits perfectly. The quality seems good, and they’re very comfortable.

Nice, but order 2 sizes up
Chamois is good, size is WAY too small. as other reviews state: Order 2 sizes up! I am 6'1" and 190 lb and sizing said L or XL. I normally wear L, even in Castelli jackets. But XL was too small: Legs way too tight. Returned, but price went up $40 in the 3 days since 1st order, so did not buy again.

Before buying, I measured myself as described on the table. However, even if it is 2XL it’s too small for me. I suggest to buy one or two times bigger in size.
