I drive a Straight Truck, those lugs gotta be tight, this tool and the 8Ah battery can provide the Air-Tool like Torque value and the battery usage is super efficient. Great Value. Drill kinda heavy for the price your paying but no drill with that amount of torque strength is going to be any lighter. Features are great way not to destroy or overtighten anything. Tires are tightened less than 2min. I dont see this drill not having any trouble with any job. Honestly good investment resale value already went up. Drilled into some steel the other day on hot afternoon drill stayed cool. Lol theres reason why these drills get stolen all the time. I have 2015 model battery that works just fine. If anyone wondering as long its 18v.

The Bosch PROFACTOR 740N high torque brushless cordless 1/2 inch impact wrench has plenty of power for any task you can throw at it. I contacted Bosch Tools directly and I purchased the recommended GSX18v12N14 starter kit that includes an 8a fast charger and an Core18v 8ah HP battery. Pairing these two items together makes for one great tool. After two weeks of ownership and some lite use, I can say this without hesitation, "This is the most powerful 1/2 inch impact wrench I've ever owned." I've used it 10x or more and the battery still indicates a full charge. This tool is a BEAST! To say the least, and I truly hope it will be an inheritance tool. The 740N build quality is second to none IMO, and I've worked as an industrial machinist, a turboprop/turboshaft propulsion tech and as an automotive tech during my college years. I have a lifetime of experience with impact tools, and I've owned several different brands. This Bosch 740N is the best 1/2 inch impact wrench I've ever owned. I even have an old corded electric impact wrench my father gave me in the late 80s. Pros: build quality, power, design, durability and ease of use Cons: It is a bit heavy w/an 8ah HP battery *** 6/23/2025: While changing the blades on my lawn mower, a 15/16" socket became stuck on the friction ring. I had to grind the socket to the point where I could press on the ring to remove the socket. I was unable to use my specific extension that keeps this from happening with a set of cheap sockets. I had a difficult time completing this task because of the weight of the tool, but my 60" zero turn mower cuts fast and well once again. ***

Great price and a quality tool. More than met my expectations, I make my living as a mechanic and this impact gun is very impressive and has not let me down, I would recommend it to anyone interested in a cordless impact gun.
