This seemed to be the best value with good reviews when I was searching for a mattress topper, so I decided to try it. We have a very firm memory foam mattress that I realized was really not helping my chronic back issues at my ripe age of 33 :) We didn't want to purchase a new mattress at the moment, so we decided to try a topper. This is very thick and soft - it feels like such nice cotton, I don't know how to describe it. The quality has held up really well and we have had it for a while now. It is quite large, so washing it at home is kind of a challenge. It fits very easily on our king sized mattress. I don't feel like it completely changed the quality and firmness of my mattress, but it certainly helped.

Unpacked mattress topper and placed it on bed, it fluffed itself up by bedtime (10 hrs). My innerspring mattress had a medium pocket in it; so I took two extra-large towels, folded them to size and placed them on the underside of the mattress in that area, it leveled it out. With the topper on top, it's all good. Now, I purchased a queen sized topper for a full sized bed and it fits wonderful. I originally did it because the queen was on sale, but it turned out well. No overhang on the ends and a little overhang on one side, so I chose the side I get to bed in from and it's perfect. About the topper, my mattress is an old innerspring and was getting thin. With the topper it has been rejuvenated. I fell to sleep faster and slept sounder. Don't know how long it will last, but will give me plenty of time to shop around and then use it on my new one. Update: So after a few days, it feels like I'm sleeping on a descent firm mattress.

Quality: I bought one to soften our firm bed for company. I loved it so much I bought one for another guest room. It is a very fluffy pillow topper and makes a firm bed more comfortable for guests who like a less firm bed.

Nice thickness. Fluffed it in dryer before putting on bed and it makes the mattress noticeably more comfortable.
