LOVE this stuff!!!
I do a lot of furniture flipping and found this nice teak set at the curb. I previously used another product which had more polyurethane. Their formula changed and did not love the color it was too red. I saw this on Amazon Watco Teak Oil Plus Stain, Quart, Hazelnut and loved the color. The oil is nice, because it penetrates the wood so nicely, moisturizes it and brings out the beautiful wood grain. It was super easy. Just put on some thick gloves and a piece of cotton rag. As you see in the video it just soaked it up and looked amazing right away. Between the slats you use your finger wrapped in rag and is it super easy, This is oil and it does have a bit of a top coating in there also, because my rag was a bit stiff the next day so it is not only oil. It took one coat only and the quart was enough for the entire set. I could have applied it a little thicker even, because I have a bit left, but it looks fine and wanted to make sure I had enough and did not run out. I did the top a second time and it looks a bit glossier. But one coat would have been rich enough actually. I just LOVE LOVE this color and the finish. Just gorgeous and I am sure I will sell it right away this coming weekend!

Good product, rub it in with a rag, do NOT paint it on, it won't work if you paint it on.
I bought a pair of outdoor powder coated lounge chairs. They had wood-like inserts on arm rests. I asked the sales guy what the wood was, he said polywood. Oooookay, these were budget chairs, so understandable. To my surprise it was real teak. After a year in the sun, it got bleached a bit, and picked up some stains from beverages, sunscreen and sweat. So I decided to apply the product. I used a rag twisted in a bun to rub the product onto the panels, hard. The wood got darker at least 3-4 shades (from straw color to mahogany-like) after multiple applications with the rag, and the grain accentuated beautifully. Took a about 10 minutes for 4 arm rest panels. I can do it once a year no problem if it keeps it looking beautiful like that.

Would buy again! Works great!
Super easy to apply, has a great gray-wash tone, great water-resistance, not very expensive, great soft texture with no stickiness (once it’s cured), and works great - very happy with this teak oil & stain

Satisfied buyer
I was worried from previous purchases with heavier items that I may have issues with packaging. It was very well packaged to protect them. Was delivered fast as well and cheaper than home depot/menards. I love this color, it is a deep dark rich brown, and coverage is exceptional and good quality. Will buy again if need it future.

Long time to dry but glossy finish
This only requires one coat on teak and it almost has a varnish shine to it when dry however it does take a full 10 hours to dry even in direct sun light. Used it as well on an oak barrel lazy susan but oak will have far less shine than teak. As others have said the top of the can is a bear to open. I had to pry it off.

Rich Hazelnut Tone — Exactly What I Wanted
I chose the Hazelnut shade for my fence, and it was exactly the tone I was hoping for—deep, rich, and beautifully dark. It instantly refreshed the look of the wood and gave it a more polished, finished appearance. The color coverage was impressive even with the first coat, though I plan to apply a few more layers to deepen the tone further and increase longevity. Application was smooth, and the stain adhered well without looking patchy or uneven. It brought out the grain nicely while still providing a bold, saturated finish. So far, I’m very happy with the results and feel confident in the choice I made. If you’re looking for a darker, sophisticated wood tone, Hazelnut is a great option. I’m pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend it to others working on outdoor fencing or similar projects.

Easy to Use to restore teak
I have a 30 year old teak patio dining set. Over the years I have used different products to help clean and restore the teak. 2 years ago was my last time. However, I had some issues to overcome; 1. I have a brick yard to work in, 2. I cannot wash chemicals off my property into he street due to runoff being a hazard 3. I'm 75 years old 4. sanding is a lot of work My solution was the Watco with stain. I've used Watco products for 50 years to stain or finish wood. This product seemed like a good options because it was a stain. I checked my big box lumber yard, specialty sites and purchased on Amazon because they has the color stain options I was looking for. I washed the table, chairs, let dry a few days, sanded using 80 and 150 and although I did not get down to raw teak I did have a smooth clean surface to stain. The stain went on easily using a cheap throw-away brush. Following directions I did wipe excess and 2 days later applied a second coat. The second coat produced a bright even finish that water beads up on. I will use it again before winter but I need to teach my grand kids to help me.

Color
This product does not represent the color on the can! We chose it for the color but we got the usual from Rustoleum. Color misrepresented! Won't but any more.
