I have thinner hair, and it’s curly but with loose ringlets. It’s hard to find something that’s defining without being heavy, but this worked great. With only using a little bit, it doesn’t need to be crunched but my curls don’t stay defined as long. I use a generous amount on wet hair and once my hair is mostly dry, I crunch it a little bit and my curls stay defined, even with moving around all day for work. It also leaves my hair softer than any gel I’ve tried. It seems a little oily and sticky at first, but after drying/crunching there’s zero residue and it doesn’t feel tacky. Best gel I’ve used

This gel works exceptionally well for fine hair. It provides perfect hold without weighing the hair down, does not make curls crunchy, keeps them bouncy, and does not leave any white cast.

I have type 2a-2b beach wavy hair. I used JVN leave in conditioner then this gel, the bounce comb and then a little but more gel and crunched hair, then used a diffuser for 10 minutes. The gel is nice and lightweight it doesn’t feel sticky or crunchy and didn’t seem to add much more drying time. Overall happy with it!

I think it smells good but it made my hair dry to be honest, it did enhance my curls after using the deep but it still left my hair really dry

As someone who dislikes strong hold gets because they tend to make your hair crunchy (and sometimes flaky), this is one of my favorite gels. Gives enough hold, but hair remains soft and touchable. Rizos Curls products never miss the mark!

Smells nice and worked great on my fine, curly hair. Did not leave my hair crunchy.
