SmallRig Mini V-Lock Assembly Kit, V Mount Battery Plate, Quick Release Set with 1/4"-20 Threaded Holes - MD2801B

Problem: mount a v mount battery somewhere on my gimbal so that I can power my monitor. Solution: SmallRig Mini V-lock assembly kit. The 2 screws threaded right into my Neewer handles on my RS3. Battery locks in place and it's LOCKED IN. Great solution. Very well made. Love what small rig comes up with. I'm sure I'll find more uses for it in the future.

Does exactly what I need it to do! Sold build quality and can be mounted in a variety of ways. Fits just about anywhere on your rig. The only thing I wish it could do was rotate but otherwise if you need to v mount, look no further!

--UPDATE-- Seller quickly followed up with me and was very good at helping me resolve the issues I had so I'm upgrading my review. They will hopefully work to include the screws in the future. --ORIGINAL REVIEW-- No issues with the base fitting the various v-mount batteries I own, but I don't understand at all why they don't include any M3 screws - especially at this price. I was already wondering how the holes on the male side would line up on various cheese plates but now I see perhaps it isn't designed to go on any cheese plate at all. Given that info, this seems overpriced as it is only half a solution for the scenarios I'd like to use this in.

There is wiggle when mounting something like a V-mount battery, at least for mine. Not significantly, but noticeably enough.

I’ve used this v lock mount to get out of a couple jams where I have no place to mount a battery. This company is always fantastic for the value and I have many of their products. I’ll note that the spacing of the screws on the v lock mount itself hasn’t lined up with anything and I’m often stuck just using one screw and with no antitwist pins this can become a problem when it’s knocked as it’ll loosen off. I was also unable to mount the v wedge to anything as the screw size doesn’t fit anything so that’s proven rather useless to me and what I’m using it for. I hoped to have found a cheaper alternative to the wooden camera v wedge but this isn’t exactly it.
