One of the MOST COMFORTABLE shoes.
I give these a 10 out of 5. Yeah, they're that good. I currently work as a nurse on a busy med-surg ortho floor and i have to say the nurse to pt ratio in balt***** sucks. When i worked med-surg oncology in PA i had 4 patients on night shift, and here i have 5-6 on dayshift. Oh, that means i can start with 6 patients, D/c 3 home and still get 3 new admissions so i end up with 6. And no, don't picture some old lady, cuz i'm very young, just fresh out of college so it's not like i've doing this for forever and getting tired of walking all day.Anyhoo, i'm not used to to working days and dealing with all the craziness. When i worked nights, i was able to sit and relax between 1-4am and i still went home in the morning with back ache and calves hurting cuz step down tele units can be a pain. I usually slept with my legs elevated on pillows cuz they hurt real bad. i got these skechers and the first night i wore them, i said "WOW!!!" i don't feel my feet hitting the ground.I decided to start dayshift wearing these cuz i knew i wasn't used to running around all day and now i can't go back to my easy spirits. These are so comfortable i can do i 16hr shift in them. I walk in these shoes from 6:45am when i leave my house and i don't get of till 7:30 though most of the time you never leave till 8pm. And i walk home comfortably in them. I picked them up when they wer 29 bucks and i wish i'd grabbed 3pairs instead of 1. or even 2pairs. Nevertheless, they are worth every single penny, so much so i'll pay 60 bucks for their comfort. If you are on your feet walking about for 12 or more hours, please get these and do your feet and yourself a big favor. Your feet will thank you.I love these shoes and i'll say the only shoes i have that can match up to their comfort is my merrell relay tour sneakers.Seriously, try them on and you will love them. Don't spend $140 on some shoe when you can get all the comfort and more in these sketchers. Honestly, till i go back to school again, i'm going to be wearing these only for work. They look great with scrubs, I don't like to wear the shoes i wear to work anywhere else cuz i think the hospital is dirty so i can't tell how they'll look with anything else but i'm sure they'll go with a nice pair of jeans. I've owned them since spring and they still feel comfortable despite all the 12hr shifts and overtime i've done in them.I really hope skechers don't stop making these.09/24/11: I was surprised to see i'd written a review for this and the date tells me it was back when i graduated (haha, i write better reviews now). Anyhoo, I'm back here to buy a new one. Oh, this will be my fourth purchase. I tried the shape-ups(for a few weeks) but they were actually making my feet hurt so i went back to these. Too bad amazon doesn't sell them anymore but i'm glad the independent merchants on here still do. I'm not sure what i'll do when skechers stop making these.

My favorite sneaker ever - no laces, but these are no longer sold in stores!
I've been wearing the slip-on Skechers D'Lites for YEARS - these were the best thing ever when I was pregnant (back in 2008, and again in 2012), I could just wiggle my feet into the shoe and go! Or if you have back problems, and also need feet support, these are wonderful. No need to tie them, they stay snug, even if you need to chase after your toddler who wants to take off in the store. And the memory foam is great - you don't realize it until you go to put on other shoes without, and it's a big difference. These are amazing for all day wear, theme parks or Fairs included. Also, these are supposedly washable ... I have never done that, but I can tell you that I've gotten them soaked in the rain and was able to tumble dry them (in a mesh bag) on low and they came out fresh.I get a good 3-4 years out of each pair, and they eventually start to show their age with the creases. If I took better care of the leather they'd probly last longer - but honestly, after they no longer look great, I love to keep them for yard work, since they fully protect my feet and I can just slide them off when I get back inside (you know, where you use one foot to remove the other shoe, and then repeat - no hands required).I recently went into my mall's Skechers store and the salesgirl said they no longer carried the full-size D'Lites anymore, just the mule version - and now the heels are chunky ... what is that about? If I wanted height I'd get a different shoe, but I guess that's the trend now ?? I found these with the chunky heel, in Rack Room, but I really don't want the heel like that ... So Amazon is our only choice, ladies, get these goods while you can!
