Fantastic overall.
As a thermal viewer, it works very well. I can pick out deer at 1000 yards, mice at 150 yards. It picks up paw prints on trees after a racoon climbs the tree. It's very sensitive. You can see you hand print on a wall for a few minutes. I have taken great videos of animals at night, including elk, deer, fox, flying squirrel, beaver, raccoon, and more. It is so fun to go out at night and see what's out there. It is so easy to spot birds and animals, even through some brush with this thermal viewer. Now, a few things you should know about. Unlike most video cameras, you can not review what you have recorded in the camera body. You will have to wait until you upload the files to your computer. The audio is super sensitive near your mouth. You will have to whisper very quietly while near your mouth, but it doesn't pick up background sounds very well at all. I wish it had a external microphone jack. I had an problem with the USB cable that was included. It was intermitent, so I bought a generic one on Amazon and had to file the connector end to fit the hole at the USB connector on the camera. I also bought a lanyard to have it around my neck. I did a lot of research before purchasing this thermal viewer, lots of youtube comparisons of competitors and feel this is the top quality 640x480 sensor based thermal viewer on the market. I wish it had higher resolution but there isn't any available with better resolution unless you want to spend 5-10 times as much. I have tried some video upscaling to 4K and was able to get some better quality footage. If it warm blooded, you can find it with this viewer.

Excellent image quality
The Pulsar Helion XP50 Pro takes me back to my military days. It’s not an LRAS-3, but it has excellent image quality and resolution for the price and civilian market for those people fence sitting about whether to get one or not. Zooming in on anything past 5x, the image gets pixelated, but don’t let that dissuade you. Spotted a fox snooping around 30 meters inside a wooded area that was 250 meters from my position, pitch dark outside. Spotted mice on a different wood line, 40 meters away. Both had enough heat imagery resolution to identify, not some heat blob. You won’t be disappointed

Clear and Sharp
This pulsar has a very clear and sharp image. I use red color for hot and animals show up really clear. Cold trees and buildings still show up in sharp detail in gray so you know where you're looking in reference to the subject. The range is amazing. Easy to record pictures and video. The software isn't bad, you can get pictures and video saved to your phone through wifi with a little practice.

Works really well
Amazing image quality. However at 20x zoom gets a little grainy. Still able to tell general shapes of people at 20x zoom. (Used for law enforcement)

bed very careful
I received a defective Helion 50pro and returned it because wifi did not work. I was charged 811.13$ and they said it was a restocking fee which means somebody else will be getting a defective scope and paying a lot of money and wasting a lot of time. Do yourself a favor and do not buy anything expensive on Amazon, the do not follow ethical guidelines. In my case they pocketed over 8oo dollars on a defective product.
