I bought this for my 1 year old when she was having night terrors. That was 2 years ago, and "Blue Dog" remains ever by her side to this day. Blue Dog goes everywhere with my daughter and is a true "Velveteen Rabbit" - he's lost his fuzz, and eye fell off and had to be re-sewn. He's survived dunkings in water, being thrown, dropped, and stepped on, getting slammed in doors, run over with strollers, and survived being a cuddle buddy every single night for the last two years. My daughter herself, in a bout of curiosity, opened Blue Dog up one night and broke the battery compartment. So the lights don't work, but I have no doubt they would have survived a long time. But even though the lights stopped working, I can personally vouch for this lasting 2 years through the heaviest of a child's love, and I'm sure Blue Dog will be with us for many years to come. Update - Jan 10, 2021 Blue Dog is still going strong. He lost an ear in an unfortunate accident and we had to sew it back on. And his nose fell off and had to be superglued. He's been hugged so much that his stuffing went all flat, and we bought some cotton and re-stuffed him. He still goes everywhere with my daughter and is still her cuddle buddy every single night, even though she is starting to outgrow him and leave him at home sometimes. But Blue Dog has survived it all. Blue Dog is probably the best purchase I've ever made. Update 5/8/2025 - my daughter is 9 now, and Blue Dog is still her favorite, but he rarely leaves her bed these days. He has survived 8 years of love and being dragged out every time she leaves the house, including two trips to Disney World. He's had a lot of repairs and been restuffed a good 5 or 6 times, but he's still going, still hanging in there, even though he's a bit threadbare these days. It's bittersweet to see that he's falling out of favor to other toys as she gets older, and he gets forgotten sometimes, but he's still always there for her when she needs him.

Very cute. Lights up nicely with warm lighting. My daughter uses it for a nightlight when she’s traveling with her son in the evening. Made well.

Purchased this for my 5 year old grandson - for Hurricane Milton. Kids get scared so I thought this would comfort him with the rain, wind, being stuck inside and noisy and it did. It is well made, soft, changes color and is rather bright.

The quality is just awful. It looks like a toy from a vending machine. Secondly-it didn’t work. Much smaller than you would expect. Waste of money.

Super soft and my brother little brother loved it, but half the lights went out after 3-4 months.

In a dark room this light up good, and changes to multiple different colors. This is good for little kids. It is soft and cute, Ingot this for my grandson and he really likes it. The item was as described, fast shipping, I would re buy from this seller.

My only complaint with this is the battery pack area in the back doesn't stay shut very well. I sort of have to re-stick it closed regularly (and it stays ok for the night). Some more powerful Velcro would help. My daughter LOVES this dog. She named him "Tody" and I have no idea why. I got him last year for xmas, and my daughter really wants another this year... so Tody has a family. She wants 6 more... lol... I'll get 1 more. :) PROS: - Super soft and cuddly - She loves that he lights up (and changes colors) - He's fairly large compared to my 3 year old - He's a good nighttime buddy
