Quality, great price, safer than electric can opener. I have arthritic hands, easy-to-use.
Fabulous! Functional, sturdy, easy to turn, quick and cuts top off safely with no raw edges! Quality, ease of use (I have arthritic and injured hands), safe, and great value for the money! Cuts the can top off better than electric can openers (trash bound).

I KEEP WONDERING, WHY ISN'T THIS THE DEFAULT?!
For 55 years, all I have seen and used are can openers that leaves behind sharp, dangerous edges. This one feels like magic! When i first tried it, I honestly thought I wasted my money. As I used it, it didn't seem to work at all. I kept twisting, but nothing appeared to happen. I assumed it was faulty. Then I checked the instructions, and the magic was revealed. This can opener doesn't cut from the top, it cuts along the side, leaving a smooth, non-sharp, completely safe edge. it is effortless. because the cut is on the side, I can even use the removed top as a cover. And since there are no sharp edges, I don't have to worry about hurting myself. The entire process is smooth, quiet, and easy. After using it, I can't help but ask again: WHY ISN"T THIS THE DEFAULT?!

just as good as my old OXO was
Works smooth, removes lid without residual sharp edge on can. Needs fewer turns of the twister to get the job done vs my old well used OXO opener

Good, but takes a strong hand to turn
Works well, no sharp edges but is a bit hard to turn

The PERFECT can opener!
I wish I could give this can opener 100 stars!!!!!!! My husband and I are retired, and both have pain issues in our hands. We've always used a manual can opener, but just recently had to buy an electric one because it became too difficult for us. This opener lasted exactly 4 months, then quit working. I'm SO happy to have found this product. It is beyond easy...and opens cans so effortlessly and cleanly. The ergonomic design is perfect, and even works for my extremely small hands. I hope it lasts, but i would be willing to buy this again if needed, as it works SO WELL. This would make a great gift too!

Easy to use
Works really well. I've been able to open from small cans to the big giant hominy cans with ease. Love that it latches on quickly and doesn't slip off like some do when I start turning.

Can opener
This is a great can opener. Easy to turn and the lid comes off with no sharp edges. Much cheaper than other brands. I would definitely buy this again.

First off, Boo to mis-shapen cans, yay to this can opener!
But second, your WINCO brand canned stuff, and I mean like ALL OF IT is weirdly non-concentric, and my old fashioned can opener, you know, the one that has the stabby disc on it that opens the can? It doesn't do non-concentric cans very well. It cuts through like 3/4 of a typical WINCO can. Then I gotta dig out my P-38 can opener to finish the can opening job (my fellow veterans know what im talking about) Bellemain though? It rips right through those can tops. And it's way easier than the conventional can opener. Plus, there's no sharp edges left behind on the can. I'm a hemophiliac and Sharp edges are basically a death sentence to me. I can honestly say that the Bellemain can opener has been a real life saver to me and I'm thankful. It's a good product, and it works easier than the old can openers. Just get one. You'll agree with me!

UPDATE: Turns out there was a small page with instructions that I missed. It's SO easy to use now that I know how LOL [FYI - turning the knob in reverse will get the opener to release] Still a pain to drain tuna, but that's not the can openers fault. LOVE this opener and how easy it is on my hands and wrists. Highly recommend. *** I just can't seem to make this thing work. I eventually figured out that it will lock onto the can automatically when i start turning the knob, but no matter what I do, I can't get it to release when it's done cutting. I fight with it EVERY time until it just finally pops the lid off. Love that the can edge isn't sharp when using this, but I didn't think things through very well when I bought it. I only need it for cans of tuna and when using this opener, I can't press the kid into the can to drain the liquid out. Now I have to dirty a strainer, as well. BUT, it cuts beautifully. Very easy on my hands and wrist.

Tried to open multiple cans, each time I can't pull the top off because the grabber isn't holding on. Had to use a knife to open my cans five times now

Easy to use and no sharp edges to cut yourself on. Handy little gripper to remove the lid after cutting.
