A: These are dimmable bulbs and need a dimmable switch. Does your ceiling fan have a dimmable switch? If not, you should get regular bulbs. Hope this helps.

A: I don't know, but I can't see why not!

I replaced old incandescent bulbs in our chandelier with a set of these. The color at full brightness as well as low light are perfect. Bright white when on full, and warmer colors at lower dimming levels. I wasn’t sure how well these would dim, but they do a wonderful job at any brightness (no flickering). Also these put out much less heat than the old ones. I’m very pleased.
