Janina Ultra White Activated Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste, 75 ml

I have been using this toothpaste for some time now and loved the thickness and density of the paste and the charcoal content. This latest order (purchased March 2020) is clearly different. Firstly the colour of the paste is a lighter grey than before, but most importantly the consistency is different. The paste has lost it’s thick consistency. One of the best features of this toothpaste, which set it apart from others (aside from it’s price) was that you only needed a small amount of paste and even after brushing with an electric toothbrush for 3 minutes, the colour would still be very dark grey and the consistency left in your mouth was thick and increased in volume. Now you need more paste for each brush and the paste almost immediately becomes watery and disappears, you are left with a small amount of dull light grey watery substance in your mouth. This toothpaste is significantly pricier that others, but I have always felt it was worth it. This is certainly no longer the case and very disappointing. I would no longer recommend this.

Bought this from boots before while it was on massive sale and was happy with the product. I liked the clean feeling on my teeth and it had that super extrem biting mint taste that i loved. Unfortunately the toothpaste i got from Amazon didn't have that same intense mint taste for some weird reason and even though it was cheaper than the normal price at boots its still to expensive for no reason

This toothpaste was not the same as i usually buy, it was very runny and grey in colour not like the usual black!!!Nowhere near as strong, wouldn't buy form here again.

The original product is amazing with a lasting freshness. However when I received this product it was more watery than the original, different colour paste, a different consistency and different taste and not as fresh or active. I'm 100% sure that what is being sold here is not the original product that you could purchase off the shelf.

I have been using this toothpaste for three years now and it has alway been my favourite hence why I am very sad to say that they have suddenly changed the formula making the consistency very glossy and weak. there is hardly any activated charcoal in the new formula and it doesn't even leave my teeth feeling clean as it used too. very disappointed with the change.
