Stacy Adams Men's 32mm Lizard Print Leather Belt

After ordering one of these belts and liking its appearance, I purchased a second one. That was a big mistake. Within months the outer snakeskin leather had split apart on the second belt, while on the first one I noticed that the color was rubbing off (from simple rubbing against trouser belt loops). I contacted Amazon Customer Service which, understandably, said it was too late (7 months later) to do anything from their end; but Amazon did supply the contact information for Stacy Adams customer service. After speaking with them by phone, they sent a gift card for $8 — usable only on their website — which unfortunately does not come close to paying for anything on the website. Of course, considering the very poor quality of the merchandise I have gotten from the Stacy Adams brand thus far, I doubt that I would wish to purchase another item, anyway. It's a lesson learned. (I purchased the belts thinking I would replace a similar leather belt that has lasted 30 years in much better condition than these belts have in under one year.)

I have no idea how one can buy this Stacy Adams belt for $3.50 but it is the real deal. Beautiful and a great complement to my snakeskin Stacy Adams shoes. The buckle is especially cool. I have read that they run small so it is advisable to buy a size larger. Since the buckle is different than most other belts I have, it is difficult for me to say definitely but I think it is true. I bought a size 40 when I normally use a 38 and then cut off one inch and it appears to be just about the same size as a 38 when both belts are put in the largest hole. I do think I could have used a 38 and it would have still fit OK just in a different hole. You be the judge. At any rate resizing is a snap, just open the catch in the back of the buckle, remove the end and cut off the desired length and reattach the end. I did find that the teeth holding the belt end in the buckle dig into the leather very hard. I cut away a very narrow strip of leather before closing catch. Only you can decide if your skills are up to the task.

This is a very nice belt. I would not wear it for every day but it was a great buy I would like to add that this belt it not only nice looking but my husband has been wearing it everyday and it is holding up so well. will not buy another cheap belt from Walmart again They fall apart too easily.Well, it has been six months since we purchased this belt and it is falling apart. The outer part of the belt is separated in a diagonal line. Thought this was going to be a great deal but it is now making me rethink.

I've bought at least 15 Stacy Adams belts (most as gifts as I LOVE mine so much!). They've been around as long as Levi's and just as well made. I have at least one for every exotic pair of boots I own. The buckle is beautiful, though I've adapted some for western buckles (buy one MUCH larger, , cut it, fold it and use belt screw fasteners).Buy one at least 2 sizes larger as it's easy to cut and reattach the buckle...I wear a 32" waist, therefore a 36" fits perfectly. I would and have bought again...find the longest cheapest one then spend 1 minute for a perfect fit.

Bought it as gift for my uncle, that was his favorite Christmas gift.

The texture stands out a little more than I expected. The buckle seems well made and the quality of the belt material is about on par with the price, but all in all a nice looking belt that fits right.
