STM Dux, rugged case for Apple iPad Mini 4 - Red (stm-222-104GZ-29)

After breaking my last iPad by sitting on it accidentally, I wanted to make sure that the replacement fared better. It is much easier to use than the magnetic cover from Apple that I had been using - doesn't fall off if you look at it the wrong way and provides much more protection without making the iPad look like a brick. Very happy!

I had one for another ipad and liked it, despite that it is a bit awkward to hold. It has great corner and screen protection, a stable mount, and foolproof unlocking of the screen. It’s also lightweight and smallish; these qualities are important for my small hands.

Zero star. Third time buying it. Used the 1st for five or six years and only bought another because it was really falling apart. 2nd one had the red surface peeling off in few months. Third one arrived already falling apart. Just look at the pictures. STM lost quality over the years and now no quality at all had left. Only explanation possible would be a product fabricated years ago and stored for all this time until expiration date.

This is a well-fitting, nice case for an iPad Mini 4. Very rugged and easy to use. That said, it weighs a LOT -- as much as the iPad itself, so you are carrying around what feels like two iPads, making it the heaviest small tablet possible. The alternative is a lesser case, or no case at all, which is not a good idea since the finish on the iPad is the slickest thing since greased Teflon (you really need a case just to hold on to the silly thing).

Its a really good case and it functions well as a stand as well for landscape orientation.

seemed to be sturdy and very protective, but I found that I had problems mashing the off/on button on the top of my ipad which this covering.

Nach dreieinhalb Jahren intensiver Nutzung kann ich sagen, dass die Hülle von STM einen sehr guten Job macht. Mein iPad hat keinen Kratzer abbekommen und wird durch die Hülle ausgezeichnet geschützt. Die Hülle selbst hat natürlich speziell an den Kanten die ein oder andere kleine Gebrauchsspur, so hat sich z.B. die Verklebung an den Ecken des Deckels etwas gelöst, doch mit ein wenig Uhu war das leicht behoben. Bei einer täglichen, intensiven Nutzung ist das in meinen Augen völlig normal. Nun habe ich mir ein neues iPad gegönnt und natürlich auch wieder die STM dux dazu gekauft.

As an ex services person, and a clumsy one, I always like my kit to stand the 'four foot drop' test. Very robust. A little heavy so if you carry in your rucksack on a long commute every day (I don't) you will need to decide whether your priority is protection or weight. Folding case / stand is excellent for reading in cafe / canteen / sitting in bed.

Es un excelente artículo, es el 3ro que compro para mi ipad, muy resistente, de excelente calidad, y es el modelo que más se adapta a mis necesidades, los colores son muy bonitos y tiene mucha durabilidad. La recomiendo ampliamente.
